We went to Rio with Frank Hopfe and his team in 6 and we also had the chance to experience the carnival in the Sambodrom with him. The next morning, with him, he went to sunrise on a hill below the statue of Christ. Just unforgettable beautiful 🤩 He has a great team and we all loved it. Again and again!! P.S.: dear Frank, once again our heartfelt thanks to you and your whole team, you were just TOP!,,🤩
Tour guide was not on time. She had to speak in 3 languages and English translations were last and very brief. Tour was listed as full day but was half day. Price went up dramatically in 24 hour period. Agency that was supposed to give tour didn’t. Was very difficult to connect with person actually giving the tour!!
Hello Nancy and Rhoda, I hope you are well. One day before the excursion we wrote to you by all means (WhatsApp- Email - Tripadvisor Chat) that we would pick you up at 9:35 am, but you did not have any type of communication or medium through which our message would reach you. The described tour does not include the Sugar Loaf, they must purchase it additionally, the price did not increase, it is a fixed value on tripadvisor and they did not make any type of change in the price, the tour was carried out as described: Christ the Redeemer, Stairs from Selaron, Arcos de Lapa, Cathedral, Maracanã, Sambadrome and Free Buffet Lunch, we pick them up at the Píer de Mauá and upon return we take them to their hotel in Copacabana. You traveled with 6 suitcases and we carried out an extra service that was to take the suitcases to your hotel paying for additional transport and that was not charged to you, we assume it, it was a lot of luggage to transfer it with the tour group in the van, they did not fit in the van because they were very large suitcases. The guide did give full explanations in English, she is an experienced guide and we never had any complaints regarding her professionalism. The service was carried out as described and much more, despite the communication difficulties and how difficult it was to find you at the Pier de Mauá in a secluded parking lot. Our goal is that everyone is satisfied with our services, we are very attentive and aware of every detail.
What I liked most the kindness and attention of Claudia who was our guide, a love of person... speaking of the places visited I think Christ for what he represents. Some advice for visitors, always heed the directions of the guide and respect the schedules so as not to disturb anyone and finish the walk on time... drink plenty of water
