Awesome experience with awesome driver and guide!
If you’re planning a Jomblang Cave adventure, ask for Maxi! He honestly made our whole day so much easier and more enjoyable. He contacted us the day before to remind us what to bring and what not to bring, and he was already waiting in the lobby 20 minutes early. He was super polite, friendly, and incredibly attentive to details. For Jomblang Cave, he made sure we arrived very early and got us in line early. We were SECOND in line and even got ahead of a whole group! Trust me, this makes a big difference, so listen to Maxi and try to get there as early as possible. He also took awesome pictures and videos for us while we were being lowered into the cave and explained everything beforehand, so we always knew what to expect. We also want to give a big shoutout to Sam, our awesome river tubing guide, who was so much fun and made the tubing experience even better!
After the cave adventure, he had cold Coca-Cola and cold towels ready for us, and after river tubing he even prepared plastic bags for our wet clothes. Those little details really showed how thoughtful he was. Maxi is super friendly and pleasant, and his English is very fluent, so communication was easy the entire day. We felt comfortable and well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend Maxi! If you’re booking a private driver for your Yogyakarta adventure, definitely ask for him! 😊

Great caving day with Maxi!
Maxi was excellent! He was timely, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and went the extra length to make our day great. He had a positive attitude and so much enthusiasm from the start through the end. The cave and river tubing were worth it and a highlight of our trip to Jogja. Definitely bring a change of clothes, and it’s okay to wear shorts for women. River shoes can be provided for tubing.

We had a wonderful day...
We had a wonderful day exploring Jomblang Cave and tubing along the Pindul and Oyo rivers. The entire tour was well organised, and each activity was beautiful, peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable.
Our guide, Maxi, was fantastic. He was attentive, accommodating and genuinely kind, and he went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible experience. He was flexible throughout the day, always had a positive attitude and made us feel completely comfortable. We also trusted him fully to look after our valuable belongings while we participated in the activities.
Maxi took excellent photos of us, which gave us some wonderful memories of the day. Lunch was also absolutely delicious and another highlight of the tour.
The caves were spectacular, and tubing along the rivers was a relaxing and beautiful experience. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this tour, especially with Maxi as your guide!

Amazing times in a cave
Get Maxi as your guide !! he knows all the tips and tricks! we had him as our guide for 2 days and he was so thoughtful! even surprised us with our favortie sodas after the hike, everyone kept asking where we got them! bc of him and his suggestions on best times to go, we didnt have to stand an extra 1-2 hrs outside in the heat and humidity waiting our turn, and we were first in the cave! which left plenty of time for other activities! having a local guide like Maxi is invaluable and can make a trip excellent and unforgettable.
P.S even though he was scared of heights we convinced him to go with us! as he had never been before and was making everyone from laugh and have a great time.

A perfect tour enhanced by a wide knowledge about indonesian culture.
Thanks to Matthias Demy we had a perfect day at Jomblang cave. In time, polite and extremely educated about indonesian culture. It is nice when all activities are going smoothly and joyful with exceptional locals from the beginning to the end. What makes it better is when the tour guide knows so much about indonesian culture and you can actually learn about anything you can think of about indonesian and their incredible people. Thank Demy! great day out

A day of adventure and fun
This is a great package. Our guide and friend Maxi was super helpful and an absolute joy to be with! He coordinated with us very well, made sure we did not have to wait long and that we were comfortable. One of us is a vegetarian, and Maxi made sure we did not have to worry about food options or misunderstandings on the dietary preferences.
The Jamblong cave activity is physically more challenging, and the cave is very muddy and bit difficult to navigate. More suited for people seeking thrills and adventure. The Pindul cave tubing is not as physically demanding, but again make sure it is suitable from you.
Reach out to Asmaradhana who can guide you through everything and provide necessary information. Definitely recommended!
