Great service. Great guide. The experience lived up to everything I was expecting. An experience everyone should have in an attempt to bring peace to the world.

The meeting place was closed, locked and unable to be entered into. We could not find the meeting point and when we called the tour operator, she claimed that it was open, when it was not. We then went to the train station,. The tour operator directed us back to the train station, to wait for a representative and the representative never arrived. We waited half an hoi4 extremely unreliable and incompetent. Surprised that TripAdvisor has this type of operators working for them. I expect my refund within 24 hours

Our tour guide, Takeshi, is very friendly and knowledgeable. He is very passionate about showing Hiroshima to visitors. Our train was delayed for 30 minutes due to bad weather. He stayed with us and made sure we got on the train safely. We really appreciated his kindness.

A powerful and moving experience at Hiroshima

There was much more walking than I expected Fortunately I am able to walk longer distances but some guests may struggle, particularly if it is hot Funding the Kyoto meeting point was a nightmare. GPS kept sending me in the wrong direction. But I had decided to try out finding it the day before so the 40 minutes I spent once I hit yo the Kyoto station, while frustrating, was worth it. The other couple I met starting in Kyoto had the same trouble . I think you should say that the starting point is I. The basement of the Avanti building across the street from the Kyoto station. Go down the steps and it is on the corner before the entrance to the Avanti mall. )or something like that) The train ride worked well but I think you should explain that if you start the tour in Kyoto, the guide takes you to your train and you travel to Hiroshima without a guide and meet the guide there. It went smoothly but not everyone is comfortable with traveling alone But in the end the Mahayana Shrine was impressive and I enjoyed the commercial area and picking out lunch. And our guide had prepared some information on the Hiroshima bombing and shared it with us before we walked around and went into the museum which mad it much more meaningful. A very sad demonstration of man’s inhumanity to man offered in an impartial and honest way. And the museum does such a good job in presenting what happened on the morning of August 6, 1945. I had seen the actual Enola Gay( the bomber used in the attack) at the Air and Space Museum in Washington DC so this closed a circle do to speak Visiting the museum has many similarities to touring the US Holocaust Museum in Washington in regard pictures and stories of victims and devastation of neighborhoods. Visiting Hiroshima is a very sobering experience but I am very glad I did it.

Jun was an amazing tour guide. She made an all day tour relaxing, engaging and memorable. Her in-depth knowledge was matched by her sense of humour. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fully organised, stress free orientation of Hiroshima.

Directions to the meetings location in Japan were not clear. We missed the group at 7:30 am and due to there lack of communication we never found the group until 4:30 pm. Personally, I'll never use Viator again.

It is a good tour only if weather is good. Insufficient time at both Hiroshima and the Island. Museum trip was very good.

A very well organised tour to Hiroshima by bullet train and to Myajima island where we had enough time to visit . The dome and peace museum were very poignant . Our guide Nob was very attentive, patient and informative about the events. I would recommend the tour

Long day , but life changing as we need to put our world perspective in place. The calm and understanding of Mito helped everyone take in the enormity of the events of the first atomic bomb snd how the residents still live with the ghosts of the event.
