We left my hotel at 6.30am and arrived at 2.30pm, so 8 hours drive. The driver was driving slowly because he did not want to arrive at the animal park and look for animals to observe. The gentleman said he was tired and in addition, he often makes stops to shop for vegetables for his family. I had the chance and pleasure to see many animals. Take the time to observe them.

This 2-day, 1-night safari to Mikumi National Park proved to be the perfect short escape from the city hustle. Dubbed the "Mini-Serengeti," Mikumi certainly lives up to its reputation, offering incredible wildlife sightings in a beautiful, easily accessible setting.

Impeccable service, punctual and reliable, Michael, our driver and guide in and out of the park is outstanding. I have lived in Tanzania in Dar es Salaam for 4 years and I know how difficult it can be to do anything without difficulty, but Kanuth and his staff pleasantly surprised me. I finally found an excellent safari company.

Our driver Michael was lovely, we got to see every animal we wanted to see and the accommodation was lovely, would recommend.

During our stay in Zanzibar we decided to take a two day tour to Mikumi National Park which was organized by our guide, Massimo from Zanzibar. Upon our arrival in Dar es Salaam, Michael from Kanuth Adventure was waiting for us, our guide for the next two days: a very kind person and an expert driver who accompanied us on this wonderful safari. Thanks to his decades of experience and his skills we were able to admire elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras and many other animals at a very close distance. Furthermore, he was able to answer not only all our questions about animals and their life in the savannah, but also all our curiosities about Tanzania. An experience to have at least once in a lifetime and we recommend you rely on Michael and Kanuth Adventure!

There are no special tips, it's all taken care of in every detail , journeys a bit 'long but comfortable (we are in Africa is normal) stop whenever you need excellent assistance and excellent food , our driver / escort Mike excellent driver always available , very nice and kind, ready to explain everything .... eeeee the children are pampered in a special way by all the staff ....

I tried to find a guide to get to Mikumi National Park from Dar es Salaam, but since I was a single person and on a budget it was not easy to find someone on viator at this time. But finally I talked to Mr. Kanuth, who gave me the opportunity to get to Mikumi as I liked. It was my pleasure and very interesting getting the chance to see this impressive wilderness.
