We had very nice experience in Kolkata with our guide Muzaffar. He showed us the city in all aspects with many insides. We could taste the food and sweets from Kolkata and could find out the secrets of the city. We can only recommend the 2 days tour with him.

City tour
We were lucky enough to visit Kolkata with Muzaffar and we could not have wished for a better guide.
He is a prepared, professional person who is always attentive to the needs of his clients. In addition to showing us the main places of interest in the city, he allowed us to live an authentic Kolkata experience, making us discover the daily life of the inhabitants, their traditions, their habits, and the true soul of the city.
His passion, availability, and ability to adapt the tour to our interests made every moment pleasant and engaging.
After the first day spent with him, we were so satisfied that we decided to book the second day together as well. He was undoubtedly the best guide we met during our entire trip to India.
We recommend Muzaffar without any hesitation to anyone who wants to truly know Kolkata, going beyond the classic tourist itineraries.

Great Day Tour of Kolkata
Muzaffar was a great guide. He adjusted the tour based on what I wanted to see. It was like an friend taking you around their home town. Probably mos importantly, we stopped a a great local restaurant for lunch. I also never ran out of water which was awesome because it was a very hot day.

Terrific Experience
Muzzafar Khan, our guide and the owner of the tour company, is refreshing forthcoming with his opinions on aspects of culture and keeps it real, not just the version you'd spoon feed to tourists. He's crystal clear in his explanations of the sites on the tour and their relation to the history of the city and india. Most important, we found he displays the warmth and engagement of a host, not just a hired guide working for the day. The driver was pleasant and professional, navigating the sometimes challenging traffic with ease, and even accommodated some changes we wanted to the route and end point of the tour. Two highlights of the tour for us were the House of Mother Teresa (The Sisters of Charity) and the Indian Coffee House at the former Albert Hall, a center of Calcutta intellectual life and the Indian Independence movement. We enjoyed very much visiting and learning about these places with Mr. Khan. If you go to Kolkata and want the private tour experience, look no further.

Dear Mr. Terry Wong,
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and detailed review. It was a true pleasure hosting you!
I firmly believe that to truly understand Kolkata, one must look beyond the surface. I’m glad you appreciated our 'real' conversations about the culture and history; it’s always a highlight for me when guests are eager to dive into the deeper narratives that shaped the city and the independence movement.
We always strive to be flexible because we want the day to feel like a journey between friends, not just a fixed itinerary. I am also so pleased that the Sisters of Charity and the Indian Coffee House left such an impression—they truly represent the soul and the intellect of Kolkata.
Thank you for your high recommendation. It would be an honor to welcome you back anytime.
We look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you again soon.
Take care & stay blessed!

Efficient, comfortable, seamless ànd fun way to see Kolkata
The tour packs in all thé major sites in Kolkata ànd includes a great lunch. The guide is very informative, friendly and experienced. Private tour with air conditioned car beats a bus for getting neat sites ànd weaving through traffic. Highly recommend this option especially if one has a short stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Private Tour of Kolkata with Tour De Kolkata
I had an amazing experience with Tour De Kolkata, and I can’t recommend them enough. Muzaffar Khan, who is both the owner and my guide, gave me a full private tour of Kolkata that exceeded all expectations.
I flew in from Delhi, and Muzaffar was waiting for me right at the exit—welcoming me warmly and immediately offering a hot tea, which was such a thoughtful touch. From the start, both Muzaffar and the driver were respectful, friendly, and professional.
Muzaffar’s knowledge, passion, and patience truly set him apart. He explained everything in detail, always making sure I understood the history and meaning behind what we were seeing. He carefully planned the itinerary so we were able to visit many places and really explore this incredible old city while learning so much along the way.
What made the tour especially unique was Muzaffar’s artistic vision—he gave me a perspective of Kolkata that I don’t think any other guide could match. It was not just a tour, but a meaningful experience.
To top it off, when he dropped me back at the airport, Muzaffar had even prepared a small gift for me, which was such a kind gesture and made the experience even more memorable.
If you’re considering a tour in Kolkata, I highly recommend Tour De Kolkata. Trust me—you’ll thank me later!

Wonderful tour, perfect guide.
Muzzafar is an excellent tour guide. We talked about many philosophical, cultural and religious aspects. It was very enriching. Muzzafar adapted the tour to my preferences and we visited three temples. We had plenty of time for the other essential sights. In the end, the evening ended with sunset at Prinzep Ghat.

Good guide, much seen, recommendswer
I had a great tour with Muzzafar and the driver. As agreed, I was picked up at my hotel on time. There we first discussed what we're going to look at. Muzzafar is very knowledgeable and experienced. The driver drove the vehicle very safely, it was very comfortable. We saw the main sights, the highlight was of course the flower market. The tour also had a lot to offer culinaryly. So we stayed at the India Coffee House and at the end still in a nice bakery. It was a really great day. I can only recommend this tour to anyone, even if you travel alone.
