Gold coffee at the Emirates Palace hotel, the Grand Mosque and the beautiful beaches… loved Abu Dhabi

This daytrip provides an overview of the main Abu Dhabi attractions. I went on this trip with my wife on Jan 2nd. What went well: - grand mosque, heritage village and emirates palace were the highlights of the tour - gold cappuccino was quite an one of a kind experience - vehicle were comfortable, and we were picked up and dropped off at our hotels Even better if - lot of wasted time in tourist trap locations, such as the dates market and a "museum" disguised as store selling tapestries, perfumes and other antiques - a lot of wasted time figuring out an issue with our gold cappuccino at emirates palace. It seems someone messed up the reservation. Even though the tour guide tried his best to solve the situation, he wasn't informing the group of what was the issue. In the end, we were able to have the gold cappuccino in our last stop before going back to Dubai - the lines to enter the Grand Mosque were huge, where we spent 50 min to get in. We would've spent more time in line if we hadn't done the online reservation, which allows you to skip a lot of the lines. Going forward, the tour guide should advise the group to do online reservation to speed up their entry into the mosque
