キトからのキロトアラグーン1日ツアー（入場料毎日）

This excursion was a good chance to see Quilatoa and get an opportunity to experience indigenous art and culture. Our guide Irene and driver Marcello picked us up from our hotel promptly. It's a long drive, but we stopped on the way for breakfast. Next, we visited an indigenous farm and learned about their lifestyle. We also got to meet and take pictures with their alpacas. Next, we made a brief stop at a canyon for photos. Then, we arrived at the crater. We were there early enough to see it in its full neon shade. We had several hours to hike, explore, and shop before lunch and heading back. Our last stop was at the shop of an indigenous artist in Tigua who is known for creating masks. Finally, our day wrapped up with a long drive back to Quito. We had a fun time. You'll need cash for all expenses (lunch, souvenirs, etc) after the first mini Mart, but there's an ATM there.

The crater is amazing. It gets really really cold, dress warm. If you plan on hiking down to the crater, wear hiking shoes as it is very slippery due to gravel on the pathway.

The trip to Quilotoa was very interesting and well organized. The lake was beautiful and Jorge was an amazing guide and knew a lot of information.

We were lucky with the changing weather in the Andes, and my son was able to kayak in the Quilotoa lagoon for the first time! Thanks to Irene and her deep knowledge of our destination and Ecuador in general, the tour was both interesting and fun. Jonathan, our driver, kept us safe the entire way despite the heavy traffic on the Pan-American Highway.

A wonderful tour through the Ecuadorian Andes, beautiful views with a demanding experience when hiking the Quilotoa Lagoon trail. Totally recommended for adventurers.
