We enjoyed our Segway tour of Gdansk very much. The equipment was good. They adjusted the start time a bit to avoid some early morning rain, which was fine with us. The guide was excellent, though a few times he was farther ahead of us than we were comfortable with. All in all, a fun time.
This tour is great. Francisco is so knowledgeable and passionate about history and the landmarks of Gdansk. I can highly recommend this tour. The only comment I would make is to sign post the meeting point better as the address on Google Map took me to the museum and I was not sure where I should have gone.
Our family of 4 got a trip around Gdansk with Fransisco. It turned out that it was only us 4 so we got a private tour around in beautiful Gdansk. Fransisco spoke perfectly English and knew a lot about the city's history and culture - we were really well entertained!
The tour was a lot of fun for us, the cold didn't change that. Francisco, our tour guide, was able to tell a lot of historical information interestingly. This made the tour very entertaining, to which his likeable and very humorous manner also contributed. The Segway itself was also fun for us again, but the throttling of the speed was disturbing.
We arrived at the venue in good time but the office lights were off. I called the contact number only to be told that the guy in charge couldn’t get hold of our allocated guide. There were no other guides available that evening so the tour did not happen. We were offered an alternative time the following day but had something else booked then so could not make it. We were refunded promptly but nevertheless, we missed an experience we were very much looking forward to!
I paid with a voucher online and when I got to the place, was asked to come back in an hour. I didn’t mind too much so went away and came back at 1pm. When I got there, it was clear the man didn’t want to take me. Then he asked if I wanted the Segway or an electric scooter. I had paid for a Segway so told him I wanted to go on one. He said I had to pay 150 Polish money and I would get a refund on my voucher in 2 days! I told him I had no cash - that it was paid in full. He refused to let me go! I was not allowed to use the Segway I wasted my day hanging around and wasn’t allowed to go on the trip unless I paid him more money - In cash. Clearly this was a fiddle. So I had to leave without going on the paid for trip.

Had so much fun whizzing around the city on a scooter was such a fun interactive way to see the sights. Tour kind was very knowledgable he gave us in depth information at the different stopping points on the tour. It was nice that the sun was shining and helped get out bearings when we just arrived.

We arrived on a bank holiday and was unsure what activities were available due to most things being closed. We stumbled across Segway point who were very accommodating and offered an awesome experience. Our tour guide Tom was extremely helpful and friendly offering loads of interesting facts and information about the history of the old town. Before hopping on the Segway we was given time to train in order for us to feel more confident and were given several goes which was helpful.

We booked this trip with a lot of trepidation. It was our first time on a Segway and were very unsure as to what to expect. We need not have worried. The equipment was in good condition and well maintained. Our guide immediately put our minds at rest with his expertise and short tutorial delivered with humour and in perfect English. After that there was no stopping us. The 1.5 hours wizzed by moving from location to location with Jacob stopping frequently to deliver the history of the buildings with accuracy and humour. He also managed the traffic making us feel very safe. In the end we very wishing it go on for longer. Well done Jacob. We are now hooked on segways.

We booked this more than a week in advance for 10am on Saturday. Got a call at 8.15am that day telling us there were some technical issues and asking if we'd like to postpone until 2.30pm - sure, no problem. At 1pm, we received another call asking if we could postpone until later that night or the next day due to unresolved technical issues. Sure, no problem. Making our way to the meeting point for 10am the next day, we could see a crowd of people waiting. Unfortunately the technical issues were unresolved and we were offered another postponement. Why they didn't bother to call us a third time is a mystery. We'd run out of time on this visit, so we just asked for a refund. The guy dealing with it said he'd arrange it.... except he didn't know who we were or our names so I had to make sure he did to ensure we got our money back. It just didn't feel professional at all. So disappointing.
