David was an amazing guide, and the visit is a very nice briefing of the beauty of the region, in my view. In a full day we visited incredible places and spent some time bathing in clear blue waters, as promised. The food was good, and so was the tour organization. Of course, Holbox beauty and its surroundings merit a longer visit to the place.

Holbox is an island you must have seen, I have traveled many places but seen such a beautiful thing. see for yourself without many words
The trip was cancelled by Viator due to bad weather I asked for a refund and haven’t received it or any response from the company
We were picked up at 7:30. An hour and a half later we had not even left Cancun. We had to merge and change buses twice before we got on the final bus. It was over two hours in Cancun before we even started the voyage to the island. The trip itself is OK. You go to three different places on the island. The city itself is very small and easy to see in about 20 minutes. They give you two hours. One place is a nature reserve with not much nature. Just seagulls and pelicans. The second place you just stand in the water about 3 feet deep for 40 minutes. The lunch is eaten on the boat and it is not comfortable. The ceviche was excellent however, the rest of the meal left a lot to be desired. Returning from the excursion was the same with three consolidations and transfers to buses and two hours dropping people off. We left at 7:30 in the morning and we returned at 7:45 PM. If you wanna get away, I would recommend holbox however find a tour that spends less time with consolidating and picking up people. That was four hours of our tour.
The tour was okay. Unfortunately, the schedule has changed. However, the islands of Touris were overflowing. On the island of Holbox you were left to your own devices. We would have liked a little tour there with information about the island. In addition, the island is very dirty. Garbage everywhere. The beach is soiled with algae. Since it is difficult to explore these spots on your own as a touri, you are forced to book such a trip. If you go without expectations, you might not be so disappointed.

We traveled to Mexico already with the idea of going to Holbox. In the hotel we were and with the agency that hired the trip they offered us excursions and we chose it. The guys who were our guides Carlos Darien and Cesar were super friendly, explained everything perfect, they were aware if we had any doubts. I'd really tour with them again. Obviously we left them tips but they made us feel obliged to do it by passing the basket one by one. I make this reference because in another excursion with "solcito tours" the guide q on top n porto well if we pass seat by seat with the basket. The food came in, which was very good, they gave us some cookies for the way back. The truth is, if I had a chance to go back to that area and take a field trip, I'd look for her with them.
