The landscape of the Dhofar region is incredible but you definitely need a local guide to navigate it, and Hamid and his team at Amazing Salalah couldn't have been better. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about the region and its people, which really makes a difference, not to mention his impeccable English! His stories really bring to life the history of Dhofar. I spent three days exploring Salalah’s beaches and absolutely loved it. The turquoise water, soft sand, and calm atmosphere made it the perfect short escape. Watching the sunset at Al Fazayah Beach was unforgettable. The city itself was quiet but full of charm and warm hospitality.

This was day 1 of my Salalah Khareef trip. It was phenomenal. My guide Said met me at my hotel and we set off for Wadi Darbat. I took a covered boat trip. Boats ranged from 2/3 to 5 rial . Absolutely perfect for those insta photos. I still can't quite believe how stunning it is. The greens are florescent!!! It was busy but with my guide we had a wait of about a minute!!! They are very professional and organised here. Excellent for families too as there are horses and millions of food truck choices. People picnic here too and I can see why people stay all day. Next week headed to lunch. Grilled meats and rice. Delicious . We headed up to the summit of Jabel sumhan. Above the clouds. Absolutely breathtaking views. Along the way my guide told stories and anecdotes about living in Salalah . We saw so many camels passing by. It was a phenomenal experience. On the way down we experienced the zero gravity point, caves, a sinkhole, and headed to Taqah castle. The castle had many artefacts and was set out as it would have been. Very interesting experience. I loved to see the photos and every day items. I highly recommend this trip. The guide and company listen carefully and can tailor it to suit your needs. They are attentive throughout and absolutely charming. Don't hesitate....contact them!

It was an amazing trip to salaha the tour guy was calm,funny,a gentleman,and he was kind.The best tour guy I ever met and best trip ever a really deserved 5 stars.

What an amazing trip we had!!! Salalah is BEAUTIFUL! Mr. Hamid was so accommodating and understanding to our itinerary changes. Would definitely use this company again for future trips to Dhofar.

We had a really great time soaking in the natural beauty of East Salalah with Hamid as our guide. Hamid came early to pick up up for the tour. Our first stop was the Sulan Qaboos mosque of Salalah, the we went up the Thaqah cliff overlooking the town and majestic coastline. We had coffee at Darbat cafe overlooking the valley. Even though we missed the khareef season and the waterfalls were almost dry, the view was still breathtaking. Hamdi took us up the Samhan Mountain Peak and we enjoyed a clear wiew of the range and valley underneath. Our trip was also full of interesting detours where Hamid shared his secret hidden gems like the frankensense tree and hidden beach spot. We ended the day watching the sunset while enjoying a sampling of fresh camel milk at a camel farm. Another one of Hamid’s detour which we were grateful for. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a day in Salalah, with memories to last a lifetime. Thanks to Amazing Salalah Tourism. Its five stars!
