We made the one day trek to Humantay Laguna. Fantastic experience, our guide Juve was exceptional. The food was exceptional! Chef Eva created two excellent meals, one before our hike and one after. The mango ceviche was amazing! Hats off to the Huaynas group for an excellent experience! I highly recommend!
Pick up was on time. Clean van, professional guide, Miguel. Driver also was driving safe and nice. Lunch included in tour was way above my expectation, very good. Also can you use this tour to see Sacred Valley and you can be dropped in Ollantaytambo. I recommend!
Everything from start to finish was great! Our guide, Freddy and driver Lucio were awesome. They made sure everything went as scheduled and we had 0 issues! Freddy was super chill and hilarious! The breakfast and lunch is good and was a great start and finish to the day. We ended up getting horses (80 soles) because the hike is no joke! It’s about 20% flat, 80% incline. Overall, it was worth it once you get to the lake! I’d recommend booking here if you are interested in going!
We loved the breakfast and lunch spot chosen by Huaynas Expeditions; continental breakfast included pancakes, eggs, variety of fruits, cereals, coffee, tea, etc. and there were also many options for buffet lunch. I highly recommend this trip to any of my friends and family who are planning to go to the Humantay Lagoon.
I found out about Humantay Lake by chance on Instagram, and I am so glad I went. It was raining when we left Cusco, but by the time we started walking, it was clear and could see blue sky. After about an hour of hiking, what a view! Thanks for the guide and a driver for taking us to the beautiful place. I would recommend anyone who stay in Cusco to go there!
