Our guide Watchira and driver were excellent and gave us a memorable tour of the major sites. We were also treated to a very good lunch.

On a group tour, you can't enjoy it if you have participants who have the guide all to themselves, but it was a private tour so I enjoyed it at my own pace. The hospitality of the guide was also amazing.

I would have to say that the experience was very disappointing. We paid premium dollar for this tour over $ 300.00 Dollars US And it fell short of our expectations The scenery was beautiful. And going to the various locations and temples that we went to were quite spectacular and beautiful. We did enjoy very much the kindness and friendly manner of our guide He was kind and very responsive to our needs However, where this trip fell short was that our guide tried very hard to please us but his language skills regarding English were marginal. He could only give us the basic information of our locations and when my wife asked him questions, he could not answer them or give us further insight into the locations that we visited. As we were walking around the various temples, we heard other English speaking guides and wished we could have talked to them and had more insight with regard to history, location, and how the temples were built. I know it is a crapshoot, when one book a tour like this, but for the premium price we paid we should've had a tour guide that was fluent in English and feel that the price that we paid was not justified. Our guide, Puk, and driver, were great. This was 1 hour outside of Bangkok so we were in the car for ~2 hours getting out and back; however, once in Ayutthaya, everything was right there so not much driving. I really loved the Summer Palace. Was the highlight of my 3 private tours in Bangkok, Ayutthaya, and Vientiane. Beautiful statues and art. There were some very old (500+ years) ruins which I find amazing, especially since in America our "old" ruins are no more than 250 years. If you don't mind the car ride out and back, this is a viable trip.

My friends and I had an amazing day traveling around Thailand on this tour. Aey was an amazing tour guide and she knew so much history.

Loved the whole day. Be prepared for extreme heat. Over 100 degrees. Sunscreen and hat a must. Battery operated fan a plus.

Wat was on time and showed us a great time touring Bang Pa-in Palace and Ayutthaya. He was very knowledgeable and knew a lot of interesting facts about the sites we visited. The transportation provided was clean and comfortable. A nice change of pace from having to plan everything and hunting for rides from location to location, just sit back and relax, and take in the sights and history. Didn't feel rushed or herded like a giant tour group.

Interesting locations and good explanations by our guide made this day a remarkable experience. Wachira was an attentive and exprrienced guide.

We had a really great day exploring Ayutthaya with Puk and the driver on this private tour. The landmarks speak for themselves and are definitely a must see while in the Bangkok area. We learned so much about their history and buddhism on this tour and definitely would have missed out if visiting on our own. The pace of the tour was just right and tailored to our preferences. We also stopped for a very nice lunch.
