So we were looking forward to this activity with impatience, as having several religions in our family, this had a lot of meaning for us Very, very disappointed; the visit to the monastery lasts 10 minutes (knowing that we pay €10 to get inside on top of the excursion). In reality, you drive for 3-4 hours for a 10-minute visit; you don't see anything, nothing is accessible. Then we had lunch and shopping in Dahab. Well, the lunch spot is nice facing the sea, but if you are hungry you will be disappointed (a piece of chicken with the equivalent of 3 spoonfuls of rice and three fries), drinks are to be paid for separately. The staff at this restaurant are very unpleasant, waiting next to you to clear the table as quickly as possible. Then we left with two extra people who wanted to go back and not go shopping, the guide took us to an air-conditioned center to be more comfortable, however because of them we had to cut it short and go back. Very long day that was not conclusive, we were in the car more. Be careful if you have difficulty moving around, to get to St. Catherine you still have to walk 20 minutes in the heat. On the other hand, the guide Georges was great, paid attention to everyone, brought us fruit in addition to lunch, was very attentive to our needs, thank you very much.
