Our private Fife tour with Sandy was extraordinary. From the moment he arrived in his kilt, his warmth and enthusiasm made my husband and me feel like old friends. After I shared details about my Scottish ancestors, Sandy researched and designed a deeply personal itinerary. He brought our family history to life by taking us to places where our ancestors had lived, our family plot in Kilrenny churchyard, the original Barnsmuir farmhouse, and a Crail location once sketched by my great-aunt, a noted California artist. The unforgettable finale was Balcomie, where one of my ancestors had been the club’s first captain. We received a remarkable welcome, explored the club’s fascinating history, held the historic Ranken–Todd Bowl, and saw the mahogany bedpost donated by our Fortune ancestors when they left Barnsmuir. Sandy’s knowledge, humor and genuine care made this much more than sightseeing—it was a moving journey into our family’s past. We will treasure it forever. Five stars are not enough!

We had an amazing day with Stuart aka The Badger! Of course, Stuart was prompt and immediately made us all feel very comfortable with his knowledge of Scottish history, his stories and quick wit! We stopped in the lovely town of Falkland for a coffee or tea and some delicious pastries, a quiet stroll and to stretch our legs. Onto St Andrew’s we went to see the iconic golf course and the quaint college town. So much to see and do and I think Stuart made sure we hit all of the highlights! The Bridge, the College, the cathedral and the beautiful beach! And we brought back many souvenirs to go along with our memories!! We made a detour to Doune Castle (of Monty Python and Game of Thrones fame) on our way back through Stirling but it was too late for an inside view.

My family and I recently had an exceptional experience on our tour, thanks to our driver and guide, Laura. She provided a wealth of insightful information about Scotland throughout the day, making the journey both educational and enjoyable. During our visit to St Andrews, Laura arranged a wonderful lunch at the course and even coordinated an opportunity for us to play a round of “mini golf” at the Himalayas course—an unexpected highlight. She also went out of her way to help my daughter see Highland cows, a thoughtful gesture that made the experience even more memorable. Laura’s professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care for her guests made this tour truly outstanding. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area.

We had a wonderful day going to St Andrew’s w a stop for lunch in the Tom Morris grill! The drive was beautiful and we also had time to see the university and Edinburgh! A great day with Alan!

We booked this tour from our South Queensferry port stop in our British Isles cruise. We are so glad we did. Allen was an excellent guide. We had a fantastic day that met all of our bucket list stops for St. Andrews. Highly recommend!

Calais (our tour guide) picked us up on time and we started our adventure to St Andrews and Lindores Whisky full day tour. Calais was amazing. He was full of great conversation and knowledge of all of the little stops along the way as well as the intended tour sites. The place he picked for lunch was incredible and he introduced us to new cuisine. Calais answered all of our question and then some. It was a truly memorable day.
