This was the perfect tour for us to get to know Bengaluru during our first visit to the city (and indeed to India). Everything was organised perfectly, and the driver and the guide made sure that our time constraints were met. Pradeep was a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge and rich experience from his extraordinary life. It was indeed a privilege to meet someone like him, and to learn from him about the history of the city and the society in India. He was very happy to adjust the tour to our interests (for example, the detour to the old fort and the flower market was amazing) and he added so much to what we saw. We can thoroughly recommend this tour to any visitor who wants to learn more about Bengaluru, and about India more widely.

Great tour, can take it at your own pace and very informative. A much more relaxed and interactive experience than being dragged around on a giant bus!

Communication during booking and flexibility with pick up time and location were very good. Having experienced day trips/tours in other destinations I expected more knowledge/information but overall okay. We were taken to Lalbagh botanical garden, Bull temple, Iskcon temple Bangalore, and Bangalore Palace per itinerary advertised on TripAdvisor. We were taken to a nice Indian restaurant for lunch (separate from tour package). The reason for the 3 stars: The tour guide overheard us talking about dresses for a wedding we are attending. He advised that they could take us to a shop where we could have a look at lehengas. The shop they took us to was a big shop with a selection of items including saris, jewellery, and souvenirs. The shop had no lehengas and the salespeople here are pushy to the core. If you get asked if you want to see a shop on this tour, say no. As we were leaving, the guide said "they are really good here, they don't get angry if you don't buy anything". Ummm, yeah, okay. We were not taken to Vidhana Soudha and Attara Kacheri which were on the advertised itinerary. Perhaps this was because they took us to the shop instead but this was not explained to us. The tour guide asked my friend if we tipped the waiter at the restaurant, my friend advised we didn't (we didn't have cash and were advised by our friends who live locally that India does not have a tipping culture), he advised that we should have tipped the waiter. Could be good to take some small notes with you if you go to this restaurant.

Not sure we can enjoy without a guide. Per se this is not Bali where history is deep. Here it is recent history.

We went in mid April, hot in the afternoon and cools at night. Our guide Tanu has over 10+ years, knowledgeable, courteous, informative and helped us take great photos in key tourist spots. Together with our driver Venkatesh both punctual , accommodating and flexible with itinerary. Drove smoothly albeit the “heavy” traffic conditions which according to them was quite light. Highly recommend this tour if you’ve not been.

I really recommend the tour. The contact with the tour operator beforehand was very smooth and well organized. Kiran, our guide, was excellent. He had great knowledge of the city and its attractions and was even able to answer all our questions. We also had great conversations. It felt like a friend showing us the city (of course one who knows the entire history of Karnataka and Bangalore :-)!). Kiran also looked after our interests and fully adapted to our wishes. The driver was good! Overall, 5 stars!

Great tour through Bangalore. Pradeep is a must for history, culture, and dad jokes. 😂 He had us intrigued all the way until the end. The walk through the park was beautiful. Pradeep was very easy to warm up to; like old friends caching up. He was very accommodating. All and all definitely left a good mark on us on this first visit to India.

I had a great time visiting Bangalore’s top sightseeings. It was a packed agenda but it was totally worth it as there is no chance one can visit so many places in a day. Tanu has been an amazing and knowledgeable guide explaining historical and religious context. He seems to have friends everywhere that you constantly feel in “skip the queue” mode. Thank you team for the memorable experience!

Fantastic private tour with Sasi who showed us the highlights of Bengalaru. Sasi was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and even showed us the flower and food market as an extra that we requested. Lunch was a delicious selection of local cuisine. A great overview of this vibrant city!
