Franz and his team provided us with the most unforgettable experience. He was so kind, understanding, and listened to everything we asked for - even when that meant changing plans on the spot. He was so patient and knowledgeable, you will not find a better tour guide than him. We spent 3 days in Lima and 5 days in Cusco with grandparents, parents, and teenagers. Franz accommodated us wanting to do a mix of history and archeological tours, as well as active experiences like zip lining and hiking. Franz gave us everything we wanted and then some. You will not regret going on a trip like this.
I was leary about going on this trip, but it was fabulous because of the travel agency which planned the trip. Franz was organized, made changes to the itinerary at our wishes, knew how to avoid crowds, and he was very knowledgeable about every place we visited. There were many moving parts to our journey and Cusco Punku handled everything perfectly. We arrived in Lima on three separate flights from the US, with one delayed a day and transfers to the hotel were prompt. Thus began a superlative a twelve day epic journey through beautiful Peru including Cusco, Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, and Lake Titicaca. Franz Guerra, our wonderful guide with a delightful sense of humor, made history come alive with his interesting commentary as he pointed out details of the fascinating Inka civilization. Every meal was a treat as the Peruvians are excellent cooks. Our driver, Javier, was superb.
