excellent organization very balanced showing the different facets of this beautiful country. the agency is very responsive and the feancophone guide had excellent french. the driver was very experienced whether on the lace-up roads of Jebel Sham or in the dunes.

We visited Oman for the first time in Dec 2024 between Xmas and New Year - family of two adults and three teenagers (12, 14 & 17) travelling from Ireland. I had already booked our flights & Muscat hotel accommodation. I contacted a number of local tour operators a few weeks beforehand but Hilal and Desert Flower were the most helpful and responsive and understood what I was looking for immediately. They sent me detailed itineraries and costings and I instinctively knew that they knew what they were talking about! We arrived in Muscat and delightful Hilal visited us at our hotel that evening before our first day trip to Wadi Shab with the wonderful Qais. We immediately felt so at home and Qais answered our kids many questions and it was an incredible first day trip. Very clean and comfortable private 4x4 and we were dropped back to our hotel. Hilal and Qais were very accommodating and flexible as we changed our Day 2 trip in light of what the kids preferred to do (we had originally planned to do a round trip to Jebel Shams but kids didn’t want a long car journey) so we visted Nizwa and breathtaking Jebel Akhdar on advice of Qais. Lots of fascinating history and culture. We were not disappointed! For our last day in Oman, Hilal booked us on a snorkelling trip to Daminiyat and we were collected and taken to Al Mouj Marina where we joined a boat tour. Another wonderful day with enough time back at hotel in afternoon to wander around Muscat. Having a guide and driver in Oman for a family was brilliant - we could enjoy Oman and its beautiful landscape, culture and gentle people at our own place, stop where and when we wanted to stop. I can’t recommend Hilal and Qais more highly - so professional but they felt like friends, indeed family by the end of our trip of a lifetime. We left Oman with our hearts full and we can’t wait to return. Thank you so much 🙏

We (two friendly married couples) made an 11-day trip with Mr. Hilal undertaken by Oman. Start in Muscat with mosque and opera. Then snorkel around the Daymanyat Islands. Then drive to Salalah and visit the Empty Quarter desert on the border with Saudi Arabia and relax on the Gulf of Oman. Organization perfect, hotels top class, people very devoted, food excellent. Desert Flower Tours is highly recommended!!!

I went on a 7 days trip that was tailored by Desert flowers tours . We were a family of 5.The communication with Mr.Hilal from the start was very encouraging to book the trip with them , he was very responsive and accurate with information provided. - Accommodation chosen for the trip overall was great -Price for the trip was very reasonable comparing other companies -the best part of our trip is guide Adil . He is one of a kind !the knowledge he has about Oman was impressive and we always enjoyed his company .He was always on time and never late even one minute . Took us to the best restaurants to try local food and always made sure we are comfortable and enjoying our trip . Adil treated us like guests and not a client . What a great tour operator and such great guides with a passion for their country making sure we could enjoy the country to the fullest. Oman is a great and diverse country. We have been traveling with Desert Flower Tours twice and we enjoyed both tours (10 days each) to the fullest. Our wishes were planned for and we had a number of little surprises along the trips: great views, great food, great people. We loved the night in the Empty Quarter desert, the swim in the Wadis, castle visits, the Dhow factory in Sur, so many beautiful camels in Dhofar, the early morning walks at the white and sandy beaches you will find across the country. With our feet in refreshing and clean waters. Guides who are knowledgeable of their country, its culture and make you feel like home quickly. Two times is not enough for us and we will be back for sure. You really start to appreciate your hosts when something is not going along the plan: our flights got cancelled to Khasab. Hilal and his team did such a great job rearranging the plans, walked so many extra miles for us! Hilal operates his agency with such great passion.

We did a 3 days tour inkl hiking in Jabal Shams (The Balcony walk), visiting Nizwa, Al Misfah etc. It was simply incredible. Mr Abdullah our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, we had many laughs, took many beautiful photos and videos. 5 stars! 🤩

Extended tour with 2 nights, which can only be recommended. Fantastic country, where we in the 5 days got a really good impression of the country, bla Wadi Shab Swim - Wadi Bani Khalid - Desert with resin in the sand - Jabal Shams - and last but not least off road ride in the mountains. Furthermore, our guide, Adil Abdullah, was fantastic. He had a knowledge of the country at a very high level as well as a very understandable English language, which is not seen so often on these edges. He also had great humor:) So 6 stars out of 5:):)

I want to sing the praises of Desert Mountain Tours and its director Hilal Al Ghadani. Our four-day tour of Oman was well-planned for two senior ladies and the care was truly personal. My luggage was lost in transit home and Hilal himself went to the Muscat airport to try to trace. I would never have recovered it without him. Our guide Abdullah Alshuhi was interesting, flexible and easy to be with. Everyone in Oman seemed to know and welcome him. We booked a 7 day tour through Desert Flower Tours and received a very fast answer and a great offer from Hilal immediately incorporating all of our wishes. On Monday 7th of November 2022 Abdullah collected us from our hotel and showed us the wonderful and beautiful country including desert,wadis ( including swimming), mountains as well as numerous forts and towns and other historical sights and events such as the cattle market in Nizwa or Turtle watching. All in all the whole tour was very informative and also Abdullah was a fantastic guide teaching us alot about Oman and it’s people as well as answering any questions we had, it was simply a fantastic trip. The car was also most comfortable and Abdullah also looked after our well-being continuously. The hotels which were organized by Desert Flower Tours were very well chosen , we were very happy with the choices made. My friend and I fully recommend to book through this company and send our special thanks once again to Hilal and Abdullah. Oman as well as the people of Oman are wonderful even we only had 10 days in all but the first impression has wettened our appetite to want to go again and explore even more of this magnificent country such as the southern part.

We just completed a six day seven night tour with Desert Flower and absolutely loved it. The tour company booked excellent hotels with the Hilton Garden Inn in Muscat and Turtle Beach resort being particularly good. Our driver and guide Abdullah was simply excellent and adapted his approach to our particular style (I.e. we preferred to get going earlier in the day to avoid crowds). He was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with the best Karak he could find… For us everything went smoothly and punctually and the SUV was comfortable for our group of four. Don’t be afraid to go out and visit local shawarma joints for dinner for cost effective and delicious dining options, particularly in Nizwa. We can also recommend the Turkish House in Muscat which is snout a ten minute walk from the Hilton. Overall, awesome!
