ガイドが広島駅を出て、その日の最初の目的地である祝渓園へと向かいながら、広島の街についての簡単な情報をお伝えします。 庭園内では、茶室や橋、丘陵を眺めながらメインの池をゆっくりと散策しながら、最高の撮影スポットに立ち寄ります。 また、ガイドが日本庭園とその主な設計原則を徹底的に説明します。 歩きながら、江戸時代の縮景園の造営や「ミニチュア景観」の概念、400年にわたるさまざまな復元について学びます。 最後に、ガイドが第二次世界大戦中の疎開先としての庭園の役割や、現在の広島の人々に象徴するものを解説してくれます。
ガイドが遺跡内の主な場所へ案内し、遺跡の歴史、目的、意義などを説明します。 天守閣や二の丸の囲い、広島護国神社などがその位置です。 広島城を「ケーススタディ」として利用することで、日本の歴史や城下町の発展について理解を深めることができます。 遺跡を歩きながら、ガイドが日本の繁栄した都市、江戸時代の生活がどんなものだったか想像するのに役立つでしょう。 次は広島平和記念公園内にある原爆ドームです。 この建物は1915年（大正4年）に広島県の物産の展示販売を目的として落成したもので、爆心地近くに唯一残された建造物であった。 この次の場所まで歩いていくと、ガイドが第二次世界大戦や爆撃に至るまでの出来事について歴史的な背景を教えてくれます。
ツアーの最終目的地は平和記念資料館です。 館内では、被爆者の遺品を見学することができます。 8月6日の出来事、その後の数々の苦難とトラウマ、そして究極の復興の歩みを、展示品を通して紹介していきます。 ツアーガイドは、さまざまな展示室に入る前に、いくつかのコンテキストを提示しますが、ほとんどの場合、これは静かにこの歴史的な出来事について学び、振り返る機会となります。

Subaru provided a very informative and thoughtful experience as we learned about the history of Hiroshima. The Shukkeien Garden was beautiful. The Atomic Dome and Peace Museum were profoundly important and a sobering reminder of the resilience and strength of Hiroshima and its wonderful people. We are appreciative of his knowledge and his dedication to answering our questions and guiding us through the city.
Amazing way to spend the evening! It was an unforgettable experience and one that everyone should make time for.
Isabella was such a wonderful cheerful guide, she gave us plenty of time for pictures and gave us a lot of interesting information. She also gave great Okonomiyaki suggestions Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the only thing that could be improved is the information on the site on where to find the start as the address directions takes you away from the actual start point (eg put on the site at the meetup info "meet at the info centre outside Shinkansen gates" however I messaged through Viator to check and they got back to me very quickly with this info
Isabella is the best! You can tell that she was a teacher in a former life :-). We truly enjoyed our time with her, and learned so much in just a few hours. Of note: Thank you to the tour coordinator (?) who phoned when we did not show up at the meeting spot (we were a bit lost) and patiently stayed on the line until we found our way. The tour itself was perfectly organized, allowing us to absorb the beauty, history, sadness, and hope that resides in Hiroshima. Highly recommended!
I loved everywhere we went. An emotionally difficult tour, but very important. Isabella walked a little fast for some of the folk, but overall it was great and I'm very glad I took the tour.

Our half day tour of Hiroshima was perfect. Isabella guided us through the Shukkeien Gardens and the Castle before our tour of the Peace Park.
