その後、バスティーユエリアの地下にある長い地下トンネルに入ります。この地下トンネルは、天井から差し込む陽の縦穴に彫られたヴォールト状の通路です。 雰囲気の変化は目を見張るものがあります。パリの歴史的な街並みの下、街の騒音が消え、ほぼ無音で航行します。 この運河の隠れた伸びは、クルーズの最も驚くべき部分の一つであることが多い。

さらに西には、ルーヴル美術館の巨大なファサードが川沿いに広がっており、左岸のドーム型のアンスティチュ・ド・フランスに面している。 その間にあるポン・デ・ザール歩道橋からは、パリでも屈指の眺望が楽しめます。船上からは、3つの眺めを一望できます。
その後、黄金の像とアール・ヌーヴォー様式のランプがあるパリで最も美しい橋の1つであるアレクサンドル3世橋の下をくぐります。 近くにはグラン・パレのガラス屋根、左岸にはナポレオンが埋葬されているレ・アンヴァリッドの黄金のドームがあります。
エッフェル塔はトロカデロとシャン・ド・マルスの上にそびえ立ち、完全に視界に入る。 夕方になるとライトアップされ、タイミングよくその場にいれば、シャンパングラスを掲げてカメラを構え、みんなが待つ瞬間に彼女のキラキラした姿を見ることができます。
クルーズは、パリ最古の橋、ポンヌフ近くのシテ島のケ・ド・ロロージュで終わります。 ここからは徒歩で探索を続けるのに完璧に配置されています。ラテンクォーターを散策したり、右岸へ渡ったり、サントシャペルを訪れたり、ホテルに戻る前に近くのテラスでドリンクを楽しんだりしてください。

We got the opportunity to see a lot of sites from the Rivers. So pretty! Staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable.
it was such a great way to spend our last day in Paris. The guide was very informative and the boat is smooth with an open top. Everyone must do this tour!
Very poorly organized and rude people, change of location with short notice via e-mail which was missed due to walking around the city. Made it to the boat 10 minutes late and it was still there but a very rude man would not let us on
It was extremely hot today but our tour guide was excellent and spoke English very well. It was nice seeing the buildings from a different perspective.
This has to be one of the unknown gems to see in Paris. The cruise in the tunnel is so interesting and to then add in the cruise along the Seine to see the Eiffel Tower and other great buildings was excellent. Great commentary and certainly a highlight on our fourth visit to Paris.
We were waiting over half an hour with a group of about 20 others at the meeting point sent with the tickets and there was no boat. No one came, no one contacted us, no text, no email. I messaged Viator on FB and emailed but heard nothing. It was only because one passenger had a phone number for their booking agent, that we discovered the meeting point had changed. So we all headed off further down the canal path and when we arrived the boat had closed its gates and they were just about to leave. The boat driver claimed that someone had been to the meeting point earlier but that wasn't true. They let us on and the boat trip was great but the communication from Viator was poor.
A part of Paris one seldom sees. Interesting history and worth further exploration of canals, locks and that history. Well worth the experience. Highly recommend
If you do this, try to go in the evening. We went at 3pm in mid June during a heatwave so it was very hot. The ride actually put us to sleep. The guide was nice but hard to tell when he was speaking English or French. Did not learn much on the canal tour so unfortunately for us, sorta a waste of time. If you just want a casual ride and not invested in landmarks or history, this will be good for you.

The pick up point was moved but no one told us, so it was only after contacting them directly that we heard and only just made it to the new place - not sure if responsibility if with viator or the boat operator

We loved this tour! We enjoyed learning about the history of Paris and seeing the famous monuments and buildings from the Seine. Our kids especially loved going through the tunnel.
