Good experience and really lived the vibes

I would not recommend Stoke Travel. I’ve travelled extensively and used companies including G Adventures, Travel Talk, Intrepid and Moose Tours, so I was really excited to try Stoke for the first time, particularly their Andorra ski trip in February. Before booking, I contacted Stoke because a group of us wanted to travel together. I was specifically told that we could all book the 12 February departure and use a promotional code. Based on this confirmation, my partner and I booked and paid. Around two weeks later, my friends tried to book and discovered the February dates had disappeared from the website. Since then, I’ve received completely contradictory information from Stoke. I was initially told the dates definitely existed and that the website was simply wrong. I was then told the trip had been transferred to a sister company and would appear on a different website. Shortly afterwards, my friend received an email saying the dates weren’t available and had never existed. When I called again, another staff member confirmed that I am actually booked onto the 12–14 February trip in their system, but suggested the trip may have been cancelled. So I apparently have a confirmed booking for a trip that, according to another member of staff, never existed. Communication has also been extremely poor. My WhatsApp message from 24 August remains unread, and email responses have been very slow and inconsistent. I have repeatedly asked for someone to clearly explain what is happening, but still don't have a straightforward answer. There is so much contradictory information, lack of communication and difficulty getting support. The whole reason I book organised tours is to make travel easier and less stressful. Unfortunately, this experience has done the complete opposite. For a first experience with Stoke Travel, this has been extremely disappointing. While writing this, I still have no idea if I am going to Andorra in February or not. They have over £1000 from me, and I have nothing.
