A really wonderful part of my trip in Istanbul. Not only do they walk you thru the mechanics of making the coffee, but theres history and discussion of the social aspects. If you're at all curious about coffee culture, you should definitely go (bonus points for the reading of coffee grounds).
Dear Guest, Thank you for your wonderful review! 😊 We’re delighted that the workshop gave you not only a hands-on coffee-making experience but also an insight into its history and cultural traditions. And of course, the coffee grounds reading adds a little extra magic! ☕✨ Kind regards 🧿
It was like the host didn't want to be there. Had limited knowledge of the coffee, had to be pressed to offer the traditional fortune telling, and I doubt he had any real knowledge of it. No history, no showmanship, no enthusiasm, just awkward. Better to go order a coffee at a cafe and watch them make it.
Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry the workshop did not provide the engaging and informative experience you expected. Your comments regarding the host’s presentation, coffee knowledge, historical context, and fortune-telling experience will be reviewed with the relevant team. Kind regards 🧿

This was one of our favorite activities in Istanbul. Efe was so much fun. We did not reserve the fortune portion, but Efe was willing to play along, looking in our coffee cups, googling what the images mean, and laughing with us.
