ナクソス島：キクラデス諸島の頂上へのハイキング - ザス山

We climbed to the top of Mt Zeus (Mt Zas) it was an experience. Not for the faint of heart tho. Hector was amazing and the views were incredible! Even saw a mountain goat.

Hector is such a lovely person to meet, and really makes the experience. The hike is beautiful but what I remember most fondly is the history and cultural knowledge learned from conversations with our guide. The walk definitely gets a bit harder towards the summit, and our guide kept a great awareness of the group and called short breaks if members of the group were struggling. A lovely hike, but definitely know to expect a rocky uphill walk if it's not something you're used to :)

Really nice trip up the top of Mount Zas. Our guide was super nice and told a lot about the area, nature and Naxos in general. Fantastic view from the top! Definitely our best experience on Naxos.

One of the guides (Hector) picked us up from our hotel and brought us to the beginning of the hike where we met the other family and guide (Nectarius). The hike itself was beautiful. Through the hike our guides continually told us history and stories about the land and the views we were seeing. They were extremely knowledgeable. When we reached the top, we had a wonderful view of dozens of islands all around Naxos. Hector and Nectarius were able to tell the name and backstory of each one. We are also provided with a little snack. When we reached the bottom, there was a lovely lunch with ample food prepared for us. They also brought us back to our hotel. They also take photos of you throughout the hike which they send to you for free afterwards. The guides showed so much care the entire time. I definitely recommend.

This moderate level hike is a great way to see Naxos from a different perspective. Hector did a phenomenal job assisting us along the hike at all times and checking in with us. Hector was very knowledgeable with the surrounding farms, plants, herbs, and mythology attached to the mountain.

Our guide was so friendly, knowledge, and helpful on the hike! He even held out water bottles for us so we would have an easier time hiking. The whole experience was definitely tiring, but worth it for great views and Greek history.

Myself & wife are both mid 60s & booked this hike which was rated as moderate. Although it was quite strenuous at times for us we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Hector our guide was brilliant. He was extremely knowledgeable regarding the history & explained everything clearly. He had a great sense of humour & was very patient whenever one of our group needed a rest. The views are well worth the effort & the price of the trip was good value. Strongly recommended.
