真言宗の本部。日本全国に4,000の寺院があり、世界中に1,000万人以上の信者がいます。訪問者は宗教的なアーティファクト、fuの引き戸の絵、そして雲の間を飛んでいる2匹のドラゴンを表す美しいロックガーデンを見ることができます。
高野山の中心。 真言宗の開祖であり、日本の宗教史上最も崇敬を集める弘法大師（空海）が眠る。 また、奥の院の参道には、森の中を数百メートルにわたって著名人の墓が並ぶ。 ガイドがそれらの歴史上の人物についての興味深い物語を説明します。

高野山の徳川家霊台（徳川家霊台）は、弘法大師の霊toの近くに家族が霊closeを置くために、徳川将軍家光によって1643年に建てられました。それは家光の祖父家康と父親の秀忠、最初の2つの徳川将軍をenる2つの建物で構成されています。 霊maの2つの同一の建物は完成するまでに20年を要し、優雅な傾斜屋根、豊かな装飾、複雑な彫刻、漆、金箔で江戸時代初期の贅沢なスタイルで建てられました。 2つの建物が並んでいます。右側は家康、左側は秀忠をenっています。

Our tour with Naka was flawless from the start when he met us at the hotel and guided us through the several modes of transport to reach Koyasan. The sheer beauty of the site was enhanced by Naka’s deep knowledge of its history and cultural significance. In addition to the highlights, Naka pointed out many small details that we would have completely missed had we done this on our own. This was a truly memorable experience.

For those interested in the history of Buddhism in Japan this is a must do. Our guide Hiro is very knowledgeable and accommodating. If starting in Osaka you should be prepared to travel 2.5 hours each way and be fit enough to walk up stairs and hills. We highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I had a lovely day with Yuki exploring Koyasan. It rained the whole time which made the experience even more magical with the fog in the mountains. Yuki was excellent, sharing her knowledge on the area and it's important history. She took us for a delicious lunch at a local eatery and helped us navigate to Koyasan from Osaka city. This was a great tour. The train ride was very scenic. The train system is a little confusing, but our guide was very helpful navigating us. Mt Koto has lots to see and if you can do two days, if would be better.
