Amazing day. Only issue is that you DO NOT canoe in the Khao Sok lake (as pictured in the page) but a local town (somewhat dirty shallow river). Driver - phenomenal, 3-4hrs either way due to traffic. Tour guide - lovely and fun. Waterfall - great, can swim. Canoeing - massive let down. From the images we thought we’d go into the big lake in the national park. You don’t. Rather a dirty shallow lake around the local town. On our day an excavator was digging up the river… Jungle trek - this was good. Very enjoyable. A nice 6km walk. Very easy. Lots of animals.
First of all, for the time you have in Khoa Sok, you will certainly enjoy it. However, the immense amount of time for going to and from the park (7 hours in our case) made it just not worth it. Adding to that our imagination was to see also the lake side of the park and to go to the waterfalls. Due to planning and the dry season, both were not possible. The guides did their best but even they stated to just go there 2 days to enjoy it all
Good morning, Yes this is advisable to enjoy this beautiful place for more than one day and in a day trip you can only have a bit of this scenic beauty. Thanks you likes our guide and driver we are doing our best, the beauty of surrounding changes with season, but most of things still exists regards
The activity was very expensive and the majority of our time was spent commuting to and from Khao Sok. As a result, the experience is short and definitely not worth the amount spent. Thankfully the tour guide, the driver and the local guides went above and beyond to ensure that you have a nice experience, they were all great, especially Fa! Also the lunch was very rich and they constantly give you water and snacks. The location is AMAZING but I would suggest also spending the night there vs. the day trip from Phuket.
Good morning thanks that you like the tours, we are not in a position to do anything as Phuket to Khao Sok is 157 KM and you need to return same day, Thanks that you like our guide and services, wish you could stay more, we look forward to serve you again with us.
If the weather was not cloudy and rainy, we would have crossed the river on bamboo, but instead we had elephant riding, rafting, and visiting the waterfall, but it was also interesting and memorable, of course, motorcycle enthusiasts could also enjoy it.
The river safari and the jungle trek was one of the greatest things we have done. The escort on the bus was a different matter he brought his Teddy 🧸 with him and took photos of it all the way. When not doing this he was phoning friends. We only was given 2 small bottles of water which was not enough all day and lunch was very poor. The jungle was brilliantly.
Excellent trip . Sami knowlegeable and helped us iut a lot especially when the atm didnt pay out our baht, the driver was very good. Loved the jungle trip and the guide there was excellent. Great food and an enjoyable but tiring trip. The trek was three hours but did nt need to do it for that long. But we did it and saw flyong lizards, tarantulas, stick insects all sorts of other spiders. Monkeys were in the dozens towards the end ot the trek. The canoes were good and we stopped and had coffee from bamboo cups and bamboo cane on a fire for the water. Brilliant
The guide, KimHan, always so cheerful, knows the best spot for photos n get best possible service ever.
