Hi, meeting ABDUL and sharing his knowledge, he told us lots of facts but also had a good sense of humour.

We loved our guide Abdul, who showed us many secret streets in Marrakech, making for an unforgettable afternoon. Thank you so much for accommodating us on such short notice.

The tour began with a ride to the Jardin Majorelle. I did not think this had been on the itinerary, but since I wanted to see it, Iwas glad it was included. Well worth seeing! The Saadian Tombs are also interesting and educational and I'm glad I got to see them. Far less interesting was the walk through the Medina. I must add, this was the third time we did a Medina walk, and it's not all that different. I became ill before we got to the Palace and had to return to our riad, so I cannot comment on that part. What we viewed somewhat negatively, was that the guide made three personal stops along the way. One to buy water (I would have thought he'd come prepared for that), one to buy some chicken (raw, so probably his lunch) and one to drop something off at a riad....looked like maybe a business card?). Not that any of these stops took an overly long time, but we thought it was inappropriate with paying customers along. Potentially a very good tour.
