I did the Atlas Mountain biking and hiking tour with my family. On time and so polite and ready to go woth a a pick up from the 4 seasons hotel. Our guide and driver were super nice. The GIANT bikes were of high quality and made the ride way easier, especially for my daughter. The views were beautiful and it was certainly a highlight of our trip. The moroccan cuisine was amazing especially the chicken tagine and the fresh salads. I highly recommend Argam Xtreme Sports and will definitely return to do a multi day tour throughout morocco and along the coast.

The tour name was 'Enter the Atlas off road' and wasn't in the drop down list of tours. This was the second trip for me and the first for my non-cycling partner. Mohamed was our cycle guide and is excellent and very knowledgeable. The tour started with a pick up from our hotel and a drive into the mountains (around an hour and a half) and we were dropped off with the bikes and began a short ascent on road and then off road for about 5 - 10km. It was then off road through villages and spectacular scenery. At one of the small villages, we were invited into one of the locals temporary accommodation (his house was destroyed by the earthquake a year or so before), but he was so generous making us mint tea and giving us bread and olives and nuts. It was very humbling. We then set off again dropping down around 20km heading towards the Lake and lunch. The last 2km was uphill and a little challenging, but worth it knowing that lunch was around the corner. Lunch by the lake was amazing and capped off the perfect day. I'd thoroughly recommend the cycling here with Mohamed. he puts you at ease and knows various routes on and off road. Better than lying by a pool!!

I had the best day with Mohamed and Yunus. Upon pick-up I was surprised to learn that I was the only patron, I was very pleasantly surprised as I’ve had several tours cancelled in the past due to low attendance (including one in Marrakech from a different operator). The whole way was carefully curated and I felt taken care of at all times. The bikes were very good quality, well maintained and adjusted to my height. The route was good, very scenic and beautiful. Lunch was fantastic, at a little place you’d never likely stumble upon. Overall worth the fee and would do it again. Mohamed is an expert on the mountains so I’m sure he’d be able to find a new you’re for us to explore.

We took a tour with guide Sinoe; the perfect guide. We were picked up in the Medina and drove to near the Atlas. There the crew assmbled the bikes which were all perfect for the conditions. Our guide took us on an amazing trip, during which he on occasion stopped to explain about nature or culture, which was very interesting. The ride was most of the time easy, but some climbs were pretty steep and this made it challenging sometimes, which we liked. We had a lunch in a village and then the Group split up and the fit part of the group continued to our desert camp. This was a bit off the beaten track, and took some navigation effort to get us on the right track, which made it more fun. Thanks for the great trip! Only advice for other travellers; bear in mind that if temperature is more than 40 celsius; it can be hot!

Amazing. Great views. Great people. Highly recommend this tour. All you need is to be confident on two wheels.

Younes was a FANTASTIC guide!!!! He made sure we hit all the perfect photo stops & ensures we were safe the entire ride. One of the best experiences I had while in Morocco. I would definitely recommend this excursion and Younes for all travelers!

Our family of two parents in late 50’s along with young adult children took this extraordinary bike trip in the Atlas Mountains off road and on road. Our guide, Mohamed Ghourdmani, was like the Pied Piper of adorable kids who poured out of their traditional mud homes to greet him as we biked through several Berber villages on our trek. It was like stepping back in time. The landscape of mountain, valley, streams, family farms tilled by animals, and herds of sheep and goats everywhere was like nothing we had ever experienced. We were invited into the home of a Berber family Mohamed has gotten to know. The spread of mint tea, olives and home baked snacks (like biscottis) blew our minds. This family, that no doubt could use the food they offered to us, was insistent that we partake. It was delicious and our hostess, with the translation help of Mohamed, was very proud that we loved everything she put in front of us. It was an incredible treat and experience. The ride was intermediate. As the mom of the group, I did very well until the last two hills. I simply pushed my bike up the hills to ‘finish’. We had a van driver, Sihassan, who discreetly met up with our group a few times along the route (when we would hit an ‘on road’ section) and would look into our faces (mainly mine) to see if we needed to put our bike into the van and catch a ride. It was comforting to know that was an option BUT we all finished! Our trip, on the most spectacular day, concluded at a lovely restaurant on a lake, Oued Nfis. Morocco was such a tremendous experience overall. This bike trip was a highlight. It just offered an unparalleled way to see the rural area east of Marrakech.

I contacted Argan Xtreme Sports ahead of my family holiday to Morocco to arrange a day's ride for myself and my 10 year old. I wanted to experience the Atlas Mountains and spend some quality time with my son and Argan came highly recommended. The communication before our departure was first class. Samira was my main point of contact and responded quickly to any questions and gave advice on what rides would be best suited based on age and experience. The big day arrived and our guide, Yunes (hope I spelt that correctly) turned up on time at our hotel and introduced himself and his co-guide and off we set. Unfortunately, despite advising Argan of my son's height, they turned up with a bike that was way too big so we had to head into Marrakesh to pick up a replacement. Although this delayed us, it was no great shakes and we were soon on our way up into the mountains. It was great to see life off the beaten track and witness the beauty and splendour of these mountains. Some of the drops at the side of the road took your breath away, but on the whole, the journey was comfortable and straight forward and Yunes gave us updates along the way. Before long we arrived at the start, approx 3km up and off we set. The 11 mile descent into the valley was absolutely perfect for my son's age and experience and we both loved absolutely every minute. Despite the delay at the start of the day, we never felt pressured or rushed and Yunes could not not have been nicer. He encouraged and coached my son, and made us both feel very relaxed and comfortable Once we got to the end of trail, we headed off for lunch in a lovely little restaurant and enjoyed stunning views of the mountains in a very relaxed and informal setting. I would not hesitate in recommending Argan Xtreme Sports, particularly for their beginner family ride as it gives you a unique and fantastic experience to explore the Atlas Mountains in an un-rushed and very relaxed way The only reason I haven't given a 5 star rating is twofold; cost and bikes. The ride was on the expensive side but I knew this when I booked and the seamless experience far outweighed the cost. The bikes are not brilliant. They are very well worn and covered in dints and make all sorts of interesting noises. Personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable doing anything too extreme on the bike I was given, but it could be they have newer bikes for the more advanced trails. Despite these two very minor things, the experience was fantastic, the guides were superb and the whole day out was one we won't forget in a hurry

We had the most incredible experience with AXS. First we did the 4 hour Magical Marrakech tour which was a crazy ride through the souks and we loved it. The food was not excessive and well selected from road side establishments. We then did the Enter the Atlas tour 3 days later. We asked for a different date so the weather would cooperate and AXS was extremely accommodating about it. The mountain biking tour was one of the most beautiful days ever. AXS droves you to the top taking a less crowded and gorgeous road and then you all bike down. It had rained a couple of days before so we had to deal with a lot of rocky terrain but nothing impossible. The day was perfect and scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The lunch afterwords was scrumptious and also beautifully located in the Ourika Valley. I’d say that if it was your first time mountain biking go for the beginners tour unlike what we did (intermediate) as the biking though not extremely challenging was tricky at certain points. The views though were unbeatable.

A really pleasant ride down the Atlas Mountains with the guide, beautiful scenery and good beginners mountain bike terrain. Good giant bikes and sturdy helmets. Lunch was beautiful in a berba village and great way of relaxing away from the hustle of Marrakesh
