Our family enjoys biking and this was all very flat and safe terrain. Bikes are excellent quality and good condition. Gozeng our cycling guide was very good and knew his way around. The support van driver Wayan was also very nice. We were picked up by van at 730 from Seminyak and taken up to Ubud. We asked if we could stop at one of the coffee places which was no trouble and very enjoyable. Then onto the temples which were fantastic and having Gozeng to explain things allowed insights into the culture and religion. We had a snack and then jumped on the bikes for a roll through the country side and village roads. Only a few quiet roads and the motor cycle riders and cars were were very considerate to cyclists, giving a friendly toot or a wide berth. We rode to lunch at a very nice local restaurant and then onto the waterfall park (pack your bathers). Our ride was 18km and I am sure if you wanted to go for a further ride you could. It was so much fun seeing local people going about their days and we were lucky to be riding at the same time school finished so got to see and laugh with all the kids. You couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thankyou!
