It was overrated. Didn’t know guides were not allowed to walk with us along red light district. Had a commentary prior to entering the district. Didn’t go in to see the coffee shop even tho it is part of the tour. Might as well diy
This tour was very good and our tour guide, Esther, was very knowledgeable. She covered everything about the history of the Red Light District and Amsterdam as a whole. We were part of a group of 8 people and everyone was friendly. It was an awesome tour!
Very informative tour. Our guide escorted us through many streets and showed us the different architecture of the buildings. She also showed us a coffeshop and explained the history and requirements of a coffeshop. Lastly she walked us through the Red Light district and explained the history and requirements of the prostitution business in Amsterdam. This is a great tour to learn about coffeshops, the Red Light district and how to get around in this vibrant section of Amsterdam.
Interesting tour of the red light area along with some historical perspective into some of the oldest buildings in Amsterdam. Andrea was great!
Ben was an awesome tour guide. He took his time to explain the history, shared local stories and experiences. His sense of humor made the tour all the better. My group felt really immersed in the culture and history of the Red Light District.

My favorite tour of three I did in Amsterdam! I wasn't sure what to expect, but our guide Ben was hilarious as he gave us the unedited history of Amsterdam and the red light district, as well as the not-quite-legal coffeeshop world. Our tour was at 8pm when the district was starting to get rowdy for the night. Keep that in mind if you want a more relaxed or more party atmosphere as you're walking around.
Very interesting way of life. We learned all about the red light district and got to see it in action. Our guide was great and a lot of fun! Forgot her name, but she's a nurse!
