I have taken a number of cooking classes, all of which were educational. This class had a n instructor who was not only knowledgeable but fun! Sign up! You won’t be disappointed.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so happy to know that the thought and care we put into designing our classes came through in your experience. We hope the flavors of Taiwan find their way into your kitchen back home, and we'd love to cook with you again on your next visit!
Angela taught a great class and we made delicious food. The class was small (5) people, the instruction was excellent, and the afternoon class was a lite supper. We left with an easy to read instruction booklet and a plan to return someday for the breakfast cooking instruction.
Thank you for cooking with us! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the class setting, the dishes, and Angela's instruction. We'd be thrilled to welcome you back for the Taiwanese breakfast class someday!
I took a street food cooking class at CookInn Taiwan and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. The class focused on some of Taiwan’s most iconic dishes — gua bao, lu rou fan, and boba tea — and everything was hands-on and well organized. What I really appreciated was how practical the class was. You’re not just watching, you’re actually cooking and learning techniques you can bring home. Our instructor made the whole experience even better. She was incredibly entertaining, energetic, and kept the class fun from start to finish while still being very clear with instructions. Easily one of the best instructors I’ve had in any cooking class. Overall, a great experience, great food, and something I’d highly recommend if you want a more authentic and interactive food experience in Taipei.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We’re delighted to hear that the class became one of the highlights of your Taiwan trip! Our instructor Diana will be so happy to hear your kind words. Hope to cook with you again on your next visit to Taipei!
Another excellent class by CookInn Taiwan , we learned how to make two classic street food dishes and Boba tea , including how to make the Boba pearls from scratch and by hand. This group , led by Angela makes learning easy and fun , with lots of suggestions for sourcing ingredients and reasonable substitutions, this was my second class with this group and next time I am in Taipei I will look to take another . Thanks again the instruction and recipe book , and cook book recommendation were greatly appreciated
The cooking class was so worth it! We had a lot of fun learning how to cook these classics Taiwanese dishes. The instructor was really knowledgable and the facility was clean and well-equipped. Strongly recommend this activity if you come to Taiwan!
This cooking class was fantastic. The instructor was super friendly and helpful, and the food came out amazing. It was an interesting way to learn about how some of the street food we've been getting is made, and the recipe book we received will make a great souvenir. I look forward to trying what I learned again at home
Lydia is an amazing teacher! My girlfriend and me had a great time and learned a lot about Taiwanese dishes and Taiwan in general. In total we were 3 people which made it very personal. Would defininetly recommend!
Very good experience. Angela was most capable and interesting. The Gua Bao we made was DELICIOUS. I can't wait to try it at home , to impress my family, The Lu Rou was also good, but the Star was the Gua Bao. The Boba Tea was an amazing process, very hard! All up, a GREAT WAY TO SPEND TIME IN TAIPEI!
We had a great time and got to learn to cook some of our favorite dishes. Fun, informative and easy for everyone. Highly recommend!
I enjoyed an afternoon cooking class so much at CookInn Taiwan a few days ago that I returned the following day to do another class! The classes take place in a city centre location, in a lovely spacious, airy room with big windows. The facilties are top notch with each participant having their own cooking station. But the real draw here is the skilled, professional, friendly and warm teachers. Both Angela and Chelsea were charming and warm and the classes couldn't have been better. There's no standing around watching at these classes - you get hands on experience from the start and the teachers are eager to answer questions and make sure everyone is happy. Needless to say, the dishes we cooked were wonderfully tasty (we sat down and ate everything at the end of the class) and I feel confident enough to have a go making the recipes at home. Recipe booklet provided but we could take photos along the way. I highly recommend CookInn Taiwan if you want to learn how to make some Taiwanese dishes. Thanks to the cooking school for enhancing my short visit to Taipei.
