I got yelled at by the staff for placing my hand on a cupboard by accident because i was almost falling over. If you don't want people touching rothschild goods than cover it with tempered glass. I am sure they can spare some money for that. they can spend a million dollars on a chandelier which i can purchase for 1/1000th of the price from build.com, i am sure they can afford to cover their cupboards, instead of putting small signs everywhere that say, "DO NOT TOUCH" No places to sit for elderly. My parents got tired from all the stair climbing. They are fit for their age, but still they are elderly and needed some seating. I'm sure the rothschilds can also spare some seating for the elderly visitors of the castle, as well. Our tour guide was good for a beginner. She is multilingual.. she was extremely young and had just started with the tour.. i'm sure with experience, she will pick up and be even better. However, nothing against the tour guide.. I just didn't learn too much about the castle. I picked up the cards along the castle and googled info. She had nothing to do with the castle nor their staff. So 5 stars for the tour guide 1 star for the castle itself giving it 3 stars.

We had such a wonderful time visiting the castle and enjoying lunch afterward at the goat farm. Traveling with two toddlers isn’t always easy, but Eva made the entire day feel so special and enjoyable for all of us. Her kindness, patience, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression on our family. We will look back on this experience with very fond memories, and it gave us such a lovely impression of Amsterdam and the warm hospitality of Dutch Tours. Thank you, Eva, for making our day so memorable!

This was a must see experience for us visiting Amsterdam and it didn’t disappoint. The whole family (teenaged kids) loved the tour. Ava was a fantastic guide. Getting to the castle early allowed for great pictures without crowds in the way.

We really enjoyed our tour of the Kasteel de Haar. It's a beautiful castle and gardens complex with a fascinating backstory of how it came to be. There's a restaurant on the property and the food was delicious and the service excellent. Our guide Ava was very knowledgeable and friendly and brought the whole tour to life. We would recommend this tour, which is just about a 30 minute drive outside of Amsterdam.

The visit to Castle De Haar was a great experience. We were guided around the interior of the castle and then we were given free time to explore on our own and get lunch if we wished to. It was a perfect amount of time.

The tour was excellent. The guide friendly and knowledgeable and willing to answer questions both specific about the castle but life in the Netherlands as well. It was a small group so you didn’t need to strain to hear the guide and you didn’t feel rushed to see everything. It was worth the money to see the beautiful castle and learn the history.
