We had an excellent day on this tour. We visited some great sites, had excellent food, including lunch in a lovely restaurant. Kumiko was an excellent guide with lots of knowledge about Takayama and Japanese history. We went to the government headquarters of the Edo era, which was really interesting, and would not have been nearly as good without Kumiko. We went to a saki brewery to taste some samples. As she got to know is over the day she made suggestions about what to do and where to visit. I can't recommend this tour more. I only wish Kumiko was with us in all the places we are going in Japan. Such a good tour and excellent guide.
