This was made great by Eduardo our tour guide he was both engaging, informative and humerous. Be aware there are 40m of spiral stairs to get to the start and 16m out. I walk with a stick and found it accessible

Always a fantastic experience. I had already done it 10 years ago and was happy to repeat it. A story told by friendly and competent staff (they don't lack Neapolitan spirit 😂) I highly recommend it

If you are claustrophobic you may want to skip this or ask for the alternate route. We truly enjoyed this engaging tour and would definitely!

We took the English speaking tour. Great experience. Informative and fun, packing a lot into a short time, and some very surprising facts. Our guide, Eduardo was fabulous, very funny, and answered all our questions. We squeezed through several aqueducts, there are alternative routes if you prefer not to. We would recommend this tour.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The tour was the perfect length—not too long and not too short. Our guide was a fantastic host: knowledgeable, funny, and very attentive to everyone’s comfort, especially when we were guided through the narrower sections of the tunnels. We felt very safe and comfortable throughout the entire experience. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone, young or old!

Impressive tour with interesting historical insights

This experience was absolutely brilliant. The tour was so interesting and the guide, Eduoardo, was humorous and charming equally. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to understand about the true Naples. The gift shop is also fab, selling authentic treats hand made by the people involved in the underground restoration project.

Napoli Sotterranea offers a fascinating dive 40 meters below the streets of Naples to discover millennia of hidden history. Tour duration: About 1 hour underground and 30 minutes outside with a passionate guide who sometimes explains things too quickly. Highlights: The ancient Greco-Roman aqueducts and the authentic air-raid shelters from the Second World War. Good to know: Some narrow and dark passages are not recommended for people prone to claustrophobia. A spectacular and very informative underground immersion, an absolute must-do during a stay in Naples. It is a shame that the groups cross paths at one point and the guides explain things at the same time, which creates noise.

Grazia was our guide. Perfectly knowable and emphatic. The tour is great, you are underground within the old cisternas , walk and “crawl” through (dry) water canals. You learn that these catacombs were a Luftschutzbunker for over 200.00 people who stayed there over a long period of time. This experience is nothing for people with claustrophobia, and walking impairments. Anybody else try it out!!

What an interesting and fantastic tour! Not too long, nor too short…just the right amount of information and experience. Options for those with unease of tight spaces was very nice too. Highly recommend this activity while visiting Napoli!
