Peter was an amazing guide and this experience is worth paying a bit more for than a group tour. He shared so much information with us about South Africa and patiently answered our many questions. It was a fantastic tour! Our guide Kelvin was truly incredible! He was so accommodating, personable and made sure we not only saw as much of Cape Town as possible, but got a comprehensive history of this incredible city and country. He made the history so relevant to today's society and made it very real!!! And table mountain was incredible, inspite of a not so perfect weather day. Kelvin caught just the right moment later in the day when the rain stopped and the fog lifted for a bit, and took us to the mountain! Incredible experience!!!!

The guide was so kind and helpful. He picked us up from the hotel and took us to Table Mountain. The view up there was incredible! We spent around 2 hours there. He waited for us and then drove us to Bo-Kaap while giving information about the area. We were a bit delayed according to the schedule but he was still kind and didn’t rush us. Thank you!

Highlight was getting on top of Table Mountain in the clear sunshine. Great views of Cape Town but depending on mist and wind to allow cable car to operate

We booked a private half day tour on the final port stop of our voyager of the seas repositioning tour in Cape Town, we completely lucked out with this company and our tour guide Jossie/Xochitile. She met us at the ship at 8am and from the first moment we met her we could feel the energy she has for her country. Explaining everything from geographic information about Cape Town, her population and the mix of cultures that make modern Cape Town. From there we went to see signal mountain and then to the cable car for our fast track tickets up to table mountain. Jossie was always there making sure we got the best pictures and helping us every step of the way. From the top of table mountain we discussed some of the history of this lovely city and surrounding area. From there we moved downtown to find out a bit about the darker side of history in Cape Town, from the arrival of European settlers to apartheid, it was a engaging discussion and brought home by a visit to the history museum where we learnt about the real story of apartheid from the people who lived it. We also visited a couple of parks that were nice strolls. Then back to the ship by 12:30. This tour was about the same price as the ship coach tour so if you’re coming to Cape Town get booking, on a ship or hotel, it doesn’t matter and you won’t be disappointed!
