We had a lovely balloon ride and the staff were excellent. This is always going to be a weather dependent event and we were very lucky as it started off misty. The views from the balloon were excellent.

Uncooperative Weather
Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and the hot air balloon did not happen, but we did have a lovely wine tour with Jossie.

Up Up and away followed by downing a few
We had a great experience floating in the skies above the vineyards. Conrad and his team were excellent before, during and after our flight. This was followed by wine tasting at three different wineries. Rodney was an outstanding tour guide for the day with so much local knowledge and experience. My wife particularly enjoyed the wine and chocolate pairing experience at the Lanzerac Wine estate. Well worth the time even though it was a long day, time literally flew by.

Over and over again
We loved our hot air balloon trip and wine tasting. They were fabulous, and our driver, Joseph, was so kind. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

Once in a liftime
A truly unique experience in a magnificent landscape! Our guide, Natasha was perfect! She accompanied us all day and gave a variety of great tips and explained everything in detail. The balloon ride took about 1 hour, after that we went to Stellenbosch to the wineries. One more beautiful than the other. Nathasa took a lot of time for everything and showed us very warmly and authentically "your" Cape Town. We can only recommend this day trip 100%. Thanks especially to Natasha. Great hot air balloon ride
Our private guide, Kevin, didn’t want to be there, and it made the experience less pleasant. The hot air balloon ride, however, was magical—an absolutely amazing experience. The team running the activity was outstanding; everything was meticulously organized to ensure we had an exceptional time. The breakfast afterwards was also very good.
Looking back, I would have preferred to only do the hot air balloon experience and skip the vineyard tour. It’s an expensive day overall; the balloon ride was worth it, but the rest was not. We could tell Kevin was impatient to get us back to the hotel. He didn’t explain anything about the village we visited, and while the vineyards were beautiful, his unpleasant attitude made us cut the tour short. We only visited two of the four vineyards on the itinerary. Kevin was delighted to leave early and drove very fast back to the hotel.
We do not recommend this guide. Pauline from the agency seems very friendly, but the guide wasn’t a good fit for us. Perhaps he no longer enjoys his job?

Spectacular experience
Simply amazing!!! A beautiful ride with an experienced, professional and engaging pilot. A bonus was enjoying a wonderful breakfast with the staff and fellow passengers. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Good service, lousy scenery
Decent for a first time experience but it does not go over vineyards or hills. Mainly highway and power lines. Very good service and well organized. Good breakfast. I’ve done tours in Napa and Kenya and there’s no comparison
