The perfect way to return to Horse riding. After not riding for over 30 years, I was a little nervous about getting back in the saddle. I booked a private lesson before a sunset ride along the beach and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. To be honest anytime spent riding on the beach here is wonderful. A huge thank you to Nikos and his team for making the experience so enjoyable, especially Isabella, Jerco and Szanett. A special mention goes to Jerco who took the time to provide clear instructions and make sure I felt comfortable, confident and safe throughout the ride. His patience and encouragement made all the difference. I enjoyed the experience so much that I returned for a second ride during our stay. Thanks to the fantastic coaching and support. I've definitely got my riding mojo back ! I would highly recommend this experience to riders of all levels especially anyone who maybe feeling a little rusty or nervous after along break. Thank you again for the wonderful memories. I cant wait to ride with you again.

Bad company, takes your money without providing a service and it’s very expensive but they are slow to respond or don’t respond at all and refuse to provide refund.

Travelers beware! We booked this 6 months ago, the day before, we were traveling to Greece and had no WiFi service, then weather was reporting strong morning storms. When we landed and had service I reached out to cancel but I was short of the 24 hours by 4 hours. I explained I needed to cancel due to storms and was told no, I was not with in 24 hours. I explained the situation, I mean who wants to take pictures in a storm and go horse back riding? They refused to work anything out with me. Told me the weather wasn’t going to be too bad…. They kept all the money and it’s stormed heavy the morning we were supposed to go.

We thoroughly enjoyed our ride. The horses are very well cared for and well behaved. The owners of the stable are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

English version This is a must-do experience when visiting Santorini. It was my first time riding a horse, but the guide was extremely experienced and handled everything with confidence, so I felt safe from the very beginning. The route includes some uphill and downhill paths, which made the ride even more exciting and gave it a real sense of adventure. Seeing the beautiful blue sea of Santorini from the back of a horse, especially from higher ground, was absolutely breathtaking. We chose the one-hour ride, and it was truly a full hour of enjoying both the horse riding and the stunning scenery — no rushing at all. Toward the end, I honestly felt like a cowboy, standing like a hero on the mountain overlooking the island. I’ve traveled to many countries and tried many optional tours, but this experience was easily worth more than the price. It was one of the most memorable activities I’ve ever done. The staff were all wonderful — kind, professional, and attentive. Special thanks to Zsanett and Nikos for their incredibly kind and thoughtful support. One small note: unlike some photos, we did not ride along a sandy beach by the sea. If walking on the beach is important to you, I recommend confirming the route in advance. Even with that in mind, this is an experience I highly recommend. 日本語 サントリーニ島を訪れるなら、ぜひ体験してほしいアクティビティです。 私は馬に乗るのが初めてでしたが、ガイドの方がとても手慣れていて、最初から安心して楽しむことができました。 多少起伏のある山道を進むコースで、非日常感がありとても印象的でした。高台から馬の背中越しに見るサントリーニの海は、本当に息をのむ美しさです。 私たちは1時間コースを選びましたが、時間をごまかすことなく、本当に丸々1時間、馬と景色を存分に楽しませてくれます。最後はまるでカウボーイ、山の高台に立つヒーローになったような気分になりました。 これまで多くの国でさまざまなオプショナルツアーを体験してきましたが、これは間違いなく価格以上の価値がある体験です。 スタッフの皆さんもとても親切でプロフェッショナルでした。 特に、親切に対応してくださった Zsanett さんと Nikos さんに感謝します。 一点だけ注意すると、写真のように海辺の砂浜を歩くコースではありませんでした。 砂浜ライドを期待している方は、事前にコース内容を確認することをおすすめします。 それを理解した上で参加すれば、心からおすすめできる素晴らしい体験です。

This was both our first times riding horses and the staff were amazing. The horses seemed to be treated well and be healthy and enjoyed the riding as far as I could tell. Our guide was so patient with us taking a many photos as we wanted and even did some light galloping on request. He even let my partner ride a bit more once on her own once we got back to the stable. We went from Fira so it was a bit of drive but possible via local cabs (though that is a little pricy)

It was difficult to get to on your own (would recommend a transfer), as the last part was dirt road. Fairly short experience, and at one point we were taken on a nudist beach (we were warned a few minutes before, but not given an alternative). Overall nice experience, and they are very good with beginner horse riders.

Very good experience. The horses were great and well cared for. It was a fun ride down to the Aegean Sea and then walking along the beach. I’m not a horse rider and got a great horse for beginners. The guide was great. We went through the naked beach so be prepared to see naked gay men laying on the beach right where you walk by with your horse. The guide asked us if it was ok first so you have a choice. We didn’t care. It was actually funny. We enjoyed it and took a lot of photos. Definitely worth doing if you’ve done everything else like we had done already.

The private customized horse riding experience from Santorini Horse Riding was amazing! Our knowledgeable guides expertly traversed the Santorini countryside through vineyards and farms to the edge of caldera, through the beautiful cobblestone streets of Megalochori and its 129 churches, and down through lunar landscape volcanic ravines to the black sand beach! The sights were beautiful and so were the horses. Highly recommended!

If you love horses you’ll like this. Our guide Milena, made it very enjoyable, she was the best! I was happy to see the care of the horses and everyone was so friendly.
