The time allowed is tight. To hit everything on the audio guide you need to move and a steady pace. The seats on the coach are narrow and the WiFi did not work. The driver was friendly and went out of his way to be accommodating. Lots of uneven walking and stairs.
Such a historical palace to experience! Certainly appreciated the opportunity. However, just know that the coach ride is more of a shuttle service, with no commentary. Of course, more time was needed to appreciate the site than allowed. It was simply a quick taste. No complications with driver or host.
Terrible. Not a typical viatotor tour. In fact no tour. A bus showed up to 10 of us with no marking that it was for A viator tour. They dropped off the people on the main road and the driver pointed where we should go and that we would be picked up at the same location. No guide no host nothing. We were completely disgusted and have vowed not to use them Ever again.
The palace was wonderful. Some of the electronic exhibits need maintenance. But, the Tudor feel of the palace was awesome.
Our bus showed up 10 minutes late...not the fault of the driver, but because he was waiting for our tour guide who never showed up! So, what we overpaid for was simply a bus ride to the palace. We then toured the palace on our own (which is magnificent). In retrospect we could have taken the excellent public transportation for one tenth the cost and would have had the exact same experience. Oh, and I must say that our bus driver was excellent and he tried to make up for the missing tour guide by regaling us with his knowledge of the area while he was driving.
The meeting spot was near out hotel and easy to find. We did get a bit nervous as the driver arrived about 2 minutes before the appointed time. He was engaging and friendly, even offered to drop us off at alternative spots on the return trip. Hampton Court is well worth the time and we could have spent more than the 1.5 hours allotted.
Hampton Court palace is very nice. I’m glad I did this tour to know a little about its history. Too bad there was no guide who could narrate a little as an introduction of the palace just like the other tour Companies. It’s just the driver who was nice. It felt like it is not a tour, but, we rode on a coach bus from Victoria station to Hampton court palace on our own.
It was a dream of a lifetime to visit Hampton Court Palace. This was a great way to do it as transportation brought us there and back. Highly recommend.
Initially tried to board a massive, crowded coach but mercifully it was not my ride. The Andersen coach pulled up and our smiling guide, Danny, welcomed us all like family. I really liked the drop off point and “on our own “ tour. We had a wonderful time exploring the palace and grounds, then enjoyed a truly lovely lunch at the Mute Swan. Timing was perfect, Danny was punctual, and he took us back in our restful, relaxing coach, which had wonderful a/c. Highly recommend!
This is transportation to Hampton Court. Pickup was prompt going and returning. Dropoff is just steps from entrance. Would have liked some narration during the trip. There was no information offered about sights enroute.
