This tour of Islamic Cairo and El-Kahili Market in Old Cairo was the perfect tour. We had told the operator what interested us. The tour was modified to be sure we saw what we wanted. Prior to pick up, we were asked to send a photo so it was easy for the guide to find us in our busy hotel lobby. Our guide, who was super knowledgeable and very personable, explained about the history of what we were seeing and how it related to everyday life in Old Cairo. He suggested a few stops we had not thought and respected our decisions on what to add and what to skip. Our guide was very patient After explaining what we were seeing, he answered all of our hundreds of questions. He taught us so much. He kept a pace that suited my bad knee and our struggles with the heat. And he was super patient as I slowed down to take photos of architectural details that intrigued me. After visiting a number of mosques and other historic sites, we asked to tour El-Kahili market and for guidance on shopping. Our guidebook us to the oldest tea house so that we could sit and recover from our touring during the heat of the day. Cold hibiscus tea was just what was needed. Our guide chose a store that had a good reputation. We had been in Cairo for a week at this time and had developed a sense of when we were being played. We could tell that our guide brought to a great shop that would be good to us, not good to the guide. After more walking, our guide recognized that we were struggling with the heat. He suggested we stop for another cold drink. I can’t think of a higher compliment than saying this tour company and our guide were professional, Trustworthy and made us feel well cared for. We highly recommend them.

We visited Giza and Cairo for three days. Momo's put us on a great tour. Very nice guy, helpful and always ready to meet your requests. Thanks to his team, the talented and sweet Sara (guide and Egyptologist who speaks perfect Italian, extremely competent and who explained in detail every place visited) and Ahmed exceptional driver, kind, polite and absolutely helpful. This trip was truly unforgettable also thanks to them. Super recommended ++++++
