The views were absolutely amazing! Also, our driver Aldo was great! I would highly recommend the wine tasting. The wine was so good and you also get delicious food!

Strenuous walk to Citti but worth it! Orvieta was beautiful! Great alternative to Florence! Highly recommend this tour!

Beautiful Cities, Special Trip
We had an amazing time exploring these cities. We took a cruise into the port of Civitavecchia and instead of going to Rome like everyone else, we explored Orvieto and Civita. It was quite cold when we visited (3rd week of March) and so very windy. We started our tour early as we only had 8hrs to spend before going back to the cruise. If we weren’t on a time crunch, we would have booked the tour later in the day. When we visited Civita, the “dying city,” everything was closed. It was beautiful to walk around and enjoy the views but the restaurants and shops were all closed. Our driver was very nice and was very helpful. Our last stop, the winery was so special. Beautiful view, lovely wine and super friendly people. That was such a great way to end the day. We wish we had more time to spend in each place because they were all so great.

Great Day without going to Rome
We had been to Rome and wanted to see some of the countryside and this tour did not disappoint. We had some great stops and got to see so much. Civita is amazing and not to be missed. We even arranged for a wine tasting on our way back to the ship which was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend.

Maurico Carratoni of Carratoni Tours was our driver and tour guide. HIghly professional. Very prompt. Excellent driver. Maurico suggested an Estate Winery for our lunch stop. We visited Poggio du Orvieto winery for an amazing five course lunch.
