This museum is like everything in Bulgary, the content is interesting but the people are not ready for tourism. We arrived at the museum with children 1 hour before the closure. They didn't want to sold ticket for an hour. We explained that it was ok for us as we were with children. They accepted but asked us to be at the exist 10 minutes before the closure. After 15 minutes, some guardians asked already us to move to the exit. We finally did the full visit in 45 minutes after having be asked 5 times to move to the exit. Nothing ready for french people. No audio guide proposed as mentioned on the website. Ps. Don't visit yhe toilet...

E-guide plus entry = total bargain
This activity gave us the guides notes and an entry which made me buy it. Great value for money. Recommend to anyone on an individual trip. In my case it was with the business partners.

A must for this museum
While in Varna we booked this activity which features an e-guide and entrance to the Archaeological museum. It's wonderful to have all the guides notes and to explore at your own pace. Real bargain with the entry.

Don’t buy this ticket
This was a total rip off. I spent $11.50 for admission instead of a few lev. They gave me nothing & told me to read the English on the walls. You should be ashamed of yourselves for selling this

Amazing! Great electronic guide, super fast entry, amazing notes! That is a real fem in Varna to get while there or passing by.

Never received my ticket for the museum
I never received my ticket to enter the museum. . . Even though we paid in full on Viator. Must be a scam. . .

Worth a visit. 20 lev for two people.
Stunning archaeological pieces, some dating from the fifth century BC. Very well documented. Explanations in English.

1 hour of history
Small but interesting. Here is the oldest gold treasure in the world 4600BC. Very few English information.

The English labels are going to be renewed in 2020 so that every exhibit has got one.

Unique place
Very interesting, amazing gold which is around 7000 years old. Unique and cant be seen everywhere. I recommend!
