This was an excellent way to experience authentic street food and soak up the atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh City. Mia took us to her local scallop and snail dealer who served up delicious delicate treats. Then onto traditional pork crunchy pancake rolls. There is no way we would have found these good gems on our own. Thanks for the laughs Mia.
We had a great night with Mia eating real Vietnamese street food. The scallops, pancake and coconut ice cream were so fresh and yummy. A local cocktail was a great end to the night. Mia knew a lot about the history of HCM and answered all our questions so we felt we had a good understanding of the city.
It bucketed down pretty much as soon as we started, but was still thoroughly enjoyable! We definitely away from the crowds, saw the locals in their own element, and ate what they ate. The jeeps were a quirky way to travel, the guides’ enthusiasm was infectious and the experience unique. Heartily recommend!!
I loved every minute of this tour. The experience of being in the open air jeep driving around the city was amazing. The food choices were incredible and my guide Mia was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The driver Chau was excellent and also very friendly. I would highly recommend this tour to anybody.
