ドゥブロヴニク城壁としても知られるドゥブロヴニクの壁は、ユネスコの世界遺産に登録されており、クロアチアの歴史的なドゥブロヴニク旧市街を囲む象徴的な要塞システムです。 13 世紀から 17 世紀にかけて建設されたこの壁は、歴史を通じてさまざまな脅威に対する防御壁として機能しました。約 1.9 キロメートルにわたって伸び、高さは最大 25 メートルに達するこの壁からは、旧市街、アドリア海、周囲の風景のパノラマの景色を眺めることができます。
クロアチアのドブロブニクにあるラザレティは、世界最古の検疫施設の一つとして知られる歴史ある複合施設です。元々は疫病流行時に旅行者や荷物を隔離するために使われていましたが、現在は文化芸術の中心地として機能しています。バロック様式とルネッサンス様式の建築様式を特徴とするこの複合施設では、美術展、コンサート、ワークショップなどのさまざまなイベントが開催されます。
