Exceptional agency. They have helped in preparing a full 9 days trip and managed to tailor it to what I requested. Nadeera was amazing and personally came to meet us at the airport, she was checking in on us through out the trip and special thanks to our guide Anton who was with us through all the 9 days and went beyond his work to always make us comfortable and happy. We are a family of four and planned a trip to Sri Lanka in the first week of June. While exploring options, we came across Blue Lanka Tours and were particularly interested in their “Family Tour in Sri Lanka.” However, we only had nine days and wanted to include white water rafting in Kitulgala, which was not part of the original itinerary. Imesha from Blue Lanka Tours did an excellent job curating a customized trip for us. Despite reaching out only in mid-May for a June 1st start, she responded promptly and was able to accommodate all our requests efficiently. The trip itself was wonderful. Our driver and guide, Dilan, played a big role in making it so memorable. He understood our needs well and ensured that our journey was smooth and comfortable, even though we had to cover significant distances each day. He was flexible and accommodating, and he also accompanied us on key excursions such as the Horton Plains trek and Mini Adam’s Peak, providing valuable guidance throughout. Nadeera, our tour coordinator, also ensured everything ran seamlessly, contributing to a great overall experience. The hotels selected were very good and aligned well with our preferences. We were also provided with knowledgeable local guides at major historical sites such as Polonnaruwa, Dambulla Cave Temple, Sigiriya, and the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy. A special mention goes to Mr. Wicky at Polonnaruwa and Mr. Sam at Dambulla, whose passion and deep knowledge truly enhanced our visits. Among all the experiences, the highlights were the Horton Plains National Park trek, the Yala National Park safari, the Sigiriya Rock climb, and the white water rafting in Kitulgala organized through Team 39. Since we traveled during a lean tourist period, most attractions were pleasantly uncrowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable and relaxed. Overall, this trip offered a perfect blend of culture, nature, wildlife, and adventure, making it a memorable experience for every member of our family.

Our family recently enjoyed a wonderful leisure tour to Sri Lanka from 25th May to 2nd June 2026, organized by Blue Lanka Tours, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed at Colombo Airport and traveled comfortably throughout the country in a new luxury van. Highlights included the beautiful hill country of Nuwara Eliya, the cultural charm of Kandy, the breathtaking scenery of Ella and the unforgettable train ride through the mountains, which was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. We also thoroughly enjoyed the sports and water activities in Bentota before concluding our journey with a smooth transfer back to the airport. What impressed us most was the constant communication and support from the Blue Lanka Tours team during the entire trip. It was evident that customer satisfaction is their top priority. Blue Lanka Tours was nothing but exceptional! We had the best guide, the best driver and attendant. Chanaka made all the difference, there was nothing he couldn't accomodate and always going that extra length! Thank you Chanaka! Ms Hashini also was a gem from the beginning to book the tours itself. We traveled for 7 days from Colombo, to Kandy, to Ella, to Hiriketiya and did almost everything. I do not think we missed anything in Sri Lanka. Choose Chanaka as a guide an you won't regret it! Our short holiday trip exploring Sri Lanka with Blue Lanka tours was nothing short of excellent and perfectly executed. The staff were so friendly and our tour guide Chanaka was excellent. He is very well versed in the history of Sri Lanka and was very patient with such a big group of women 😂. Hashini and Nadeera from Blue Lanka tours ensured that our itinerary was filled with fun activities, and the best places to visit on our way to our amazing hotels every day. Hashini and her team catered to all of our needs during the tour, even organizing a free shuttle to the airport on our last night. We are extremely grateful for that act of kindness and great hospitality we received from your team. We did a five-day round trip starting in Colombo where we drove to Kandy, Ella, Yala national park, Hiriketiya and back to Colombo. Our days included visiting an elephant orphanage in Sabaragamuwa where we saw Asian elephants for the first time ever. Seeing the elephants cross the road from the river back to the orphanage was one of the closest and most amazing elephant encounters of my life. We also visited the Bluefield tea factory where we learnt all about the tea-making process in Sri Lanka and had a five-star tea-tasing experience at the Bluefield tea shop where we were able to purchase our tea of choice afterwards. After spending the night in Ella we visited the nine arches bridge and waitied for the Ella train to pass by at 09:50 then did a stop over at the waterfall down the road. In the afternoon we did the Yala national park safari tour where we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one of the leopards. Not going to lie though, it was a very overwhelming experience just because there were too many tour vehicles on top of each other trying to get a glimpse of the animal at the same time. Aside from that particular part, we saw a black bear, had a beautiful encounter with a herd of elephants and their baby, many different bird species and other wildlife in Yala. The following day we had a river safari on the Madu river where we visit Cinnamon island and had a wonderful local experience drinking cinnamon tea and learning how the locals extract and prepare their cinnamon. POS machines are available on the island so you can purchase their local products. Later we stopped by the moon stone factory where we got to see how they make jewelry from the moon stone and got to purchase a small souvenir to take home. Our itinerary was full and the long drives between our different stops allowed us to explore quite a large part of Sri Lanka. The people where friendly every where we went and not once did we feel uneasy or unsafe. My entire group and I are very grateful to the Blue Lanka tours team for planning and executing an excellent holiday for us. We received everything we needed and our guide Chanaka, driver and assistant were very kind, patient and professional. We received flowers every morning before entering the bus which always set the mood for the day. Chapeau to Hashini and her team, thanks to you guys we had a wonderful holiday. Will deffinetly recommend Blue Lanka Tours for planning your next holiday trip to Sri Lanka. 11/10 Experience for sure!

We had a wonderful experience with Blue Lanka Tours throughout our Sri Lanka trip. Everything was well organized, comfortable, and smooth from pickup to hotel coordination and sightseeing. The itinerary was planned nicely for our family, and the entire journey felt safe and stress-free. A special thanks to our tour guide Dilan Silva for being extremely patient, friendly, and supportive throughout the trip. He was always punctual, drove safely, helped us with local recommendations, and made sure our daughter was comfortable during the journey. His knowledge about Sri Lankan culture, history, and places made the experience even better. We truly enjoyed visiting places like Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Yala National Park, and Galle with their support. Highly recommended for anyone planning a Sri Lanka vacation with family.

We saw very few animals. Only buffaloes, deer, crocodiles and a few birds. We didn't see a leopard.

Our guide/driver DILAN was friendly and did a great job driving us around Sri Lanka. Navigating chaotic traffic and introducing us to fabulous UNESCO guides and updating us on interesting SL info. The tour started from Negombo then Dambulla Kandy Ella Yala Galle and Colombo. The people, the wildlife, the scenery and activities were highlights. Thank you Blue Lanka for fantastic exploration of SL.

We have just finished an 18 day trip around Sri Lanka. Such a beautiful country with super friendly people. Blue Lanka were first class from the first interaction, everything was planned perfectly and the trip went off without a hitch. The activities booked were well coordinated, the right amount of time and no overlap in experiences. The guides at each activity were hand picked and the best people available. The transport was very comfortable and air conditioned. The best highlight of our tour was our guide/driver Dilan Siliva - we alway felt very well looked after and safe. Dilan genuinely cared about giving us the best experience possible on our trip and we could not have asked for more from him. He was a very friendly and delightful guide and travel buddy who made the trip very memorable for us - highly recommended if you come and share this fabulous country.

Our guide Dilshan was super attentive and flexible. He always listened to what we wanted and easily made changes to our plans as the trip progressed. The tour company was communicative and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our trip, and booked fabulous hotels. Our only critique is perhaps that more options could be offered and the excursions explained a little more clearly when booking the tour, as we changed a few things in our itinerary once we got here and heard a bit more about what we were doing. But overall we had an absolutely fabulous trip and couldn’t recommend this company and Dilshan enough!
