Unlike our Zurich tour, our Bern tour was a home run! Early on we were contacted by the tour company to find out just what we did and didn't want to do/see. Also since we were coming to Bern via train from Zurich, we were able to arrange our "pick up" at a coffee shop just outside the train station. We traded emails a few times with James, our tour guide, including one where he recommended a restaurant with a great view for lunch after our tour. We made the reservation and it was a great choice. James was very friendly and knowledgeable about Bern, it's history, culture, neighborhoods and we saw the things that were of interest to us. He even arranged the tour so that we could see Bern's version of the famous Prague clock tower striking noon, which was fun. He had lots of anecdotal stories, was organized, yet flexible and very attentive. We had a very good time and really enjoyed the tour and our time with him.
Our guide never showed up and the company who provides the tour is out of Canada so they were not awake to help us

Very informative walking tour. Anand had an excellent knowledge of Bern and showed us a lot of interesting sites relating to the history of the city.
Anand was a wonderful guide. He gave us options on what to see and tailored our tour to our interests. We saw large portion of Bern and learned about historical landmarks. The tour was worth the price to have our own guide around the city. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you so much Anand for a lovely morning despite the rain.

We had such a great tour with Anand. He was informative, friendly and enthusiastic. Really enjoyed the option of walking by the river/forest side and enjoyed the views. He was also very helpful at the end with options to do/restaurants/ Christmas markets.
Anend arrived on time and was very personable. He brought his bike on the tour. That never slowed us down. We walked through a varietyI of areas, seeing.the history and development of Bern. we say the sites Bern is noted for as well as parts of Bern off the beaten path. We enjoyed our experience very much.
my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our personalized tour with Stefan. He was very knowledgeable and allowed us to go at our pace. We may not have seen everything on his agenda, but most importantly what we did see, was extremely educational and he was absolutely a joy to tour with.
