Excellent tour with Sonia around the historic areas of Funchal. She was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the town and the people who shaped its history.
Meeting up, having a wander round and chat with a lovely local chap. Some interesting local info and tips . Exactly what we wished for.
2 hour walking tour through center town of Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. We booked on-line a day or 2 prior. The guide walked slowly. Some steps to climb but not very steep ones. Mild to moderate exertion. The guide was knowledgeable of history and answered all our questions about daily life in Madeira. We were very pleased and would certainly recommend.
Our host Richard was outstanding. Great knowledge of the city and very personable. We highly recommend booking a tour through this service.
A really unique way to learn about a destination. You are matched to a local with great knowledge of somewhere they love and want to share that passion. Our guide took us on a wonderful walking tour that dig into side roads and places where a car or bus tour wouldn’t be able to reach. We learned a lot and very much want to come back to learn more.
