Great full day tour from Montevideo to visit the historic city of Colonia de Sacramento. Marcela was amazing in discussing the history of the city including its founding and connection between Spain and Portugal. A great day visiting this city that I recommend to anyone wanted to visit Uruguay.

The experience with the tour was great. They picked us up and left us at our hotel. I consider that the hours of the tour are few to truly get to know Colonia in detail, which by the way is wonderful. Our guide Marcela was super helpful, she spoke very well 3 languages - English, Portuguese, and Spanish. I would say that the tour is a good option for those who have little time to see an important part of Uruguay and want something practical and easy. If you want to know in more detail, I suggest spending a night in Cologne and dividing the city into two days with a guided tour there, that was my impression.
The trip to Colonia was very pleasant, we were in a group of 11 tourists and the guide helped us well. All the stops and stories were very interesting, besides the beautiful visuals. We received information on where to have lunch, souvenirs, dessert, and tours. We had a fully guided part of the tour and then we received free time to explore Sacramento.

Besides being very polite and attentive, he led the group with complete punctuality, organization, and good humor, making the trip light, safe, and unforgettable. I recommend his work with my eyes closed!
A 175-kilometer trip from Montevideo, passing through a city 50 kilometers before with Swiss and Italian immigration. Colonia de Sacramento is very nice and small, worth visiting, but charging 160 dollars for the experience is out of line.
