We went on a tour to Can Gio Monkey Island. Our tour was led by Giang and he was a fantastic guide. He communicated with us the day before to ensure a smooth pickup from our hotel the next day. It was very interesting to learn about the area while also getting the experience of walking along the streets and paths with all the hundreds of curious and mischievous monkeys. Feeding them, or more like them helping themselves to the food right out of your hands, was so much fun. And the lunch that was provided was delicious, it was so much food that we all left completely full! I would highly recommend this tour for a half day getaway outside of HCMC.

My family and I had a fantastic time on this tour, and we were guided by Hawey! From pickup at our hotel to drop off, Hawey was very engaging and provided us with plenty of information about the tour and war. This experience was great, however we didn’t ride the speedboats due to the low tide but the walkthrough of the mangrove forest was incredible. Hawey also helped organise monkey feeding when some family members wanted to experience it, so thank you Hawey! We were also provided with a lunch that was very filling and delicious. Highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Ho Chi Minh! It was a nice little half day trip to get out of the hustle and bustle of the busy city.

It was a superb excursion, filled with the joy and good humor brought by our guide Chow. He explained all the historical parts about the war ruins very well; it was very interesting and engaging. A very big thank you to him; I loved this excursion!

Together with my daughter (16) we booked this trip to the monkey island. We had such a great day and time!!! The trip was well organized and the driver perfect, but our guide KEN made this trip special and an amazing experience for us. He told us everything about the vietnamese culture, the food, the mangroves, the wildlife, the daily life and the history. After being in the mangroves, we visited a local market where KEN picked out some fresh sea food and then we had an amazing and really tasty lunch. Having deliciuos oysters, snails, mussels etc. KEN really made our day and we would highly reccomend to ask for him as your tour guide. He as well gave us later on some good tipps for Ho Chi Minh City. Thanks Ken for that great day and all the best for you ☺️🤗👍!!!

Overall experience was very good and enjoyable. Our guide Giang is very knowledgeable and fun. Food was very delicious. Highly recommend.

This was a great trip (approx 7 hours) and saw some master of mischief macaque monkeys along the way! We also saw some crocodiles in nature, which was great because I was worried they would be enclosed in. We visited a Vietnam military base and learned history about there. Also included was a very generous lunch, we left feeling stuffed. Our tour guide Giang was great, and spoke very good English.
