This was a fun and interesting tour of the Albufera National Park. The setting was beautiful, the sunset boat trip was lovely and peaceful and the barraca was quite interesting. It was very interesting to enjoy nature within the park and learn about the development of the area including the area for fishing and introduction of rice. This tour is excellent and I would recommend it if you enjoy nature.
A lot of people choose the sunset boat ride but I opted for the morning tour to see what the lagoon was like at this time of the day. Our guide was Alex and he was amazing - he conducted the tour in 3 languages which is a feat in itself. We learnt a lot about cultural and natural history of the Albufera and the highlight was the silent electric boat ride through the lagoon. So peaceful and we also saw some egrets as well as lots of ducks. The birdlife will vary according to the season. You won't be disappointed if the morning tour is all you have time for. Great tour with an engaging and friendly guide.

The excursion was organized with great attention and care for details. Our guide Monica was very competent, prepared, and passionate about the places and history of this territory and the Albufera reserve. She made us relive the life and traditions of the fishermen and shared her deep respect and care for this very unique and fragile ecosystem. The boat trip was exciting; we enjoyed the sunset on the water with the sky that ignited in golden tones at sunset. An experience absolutely to be lived and shared, I absolutely recommend it.

It has been a very good experience of nature, history, culture, and a wonderful sunset in the middle of the Albufera. Ferrán is a friendly, cultured guide who makes the day very lively.
