Nick is amazing! Highly recommend taking a tour with him. He knows a lot and is great to talk to and tour Kyoto with. Had a blast!

Doing this tour was so great! I came away knowing a lot more about ramen and how versatile a dish it is. I got to choose 2 ramen spots to try and both were incredibly yummy. Nick was awesome talking about ramen and Japan more broadly. If you think you may be even slightly interested, i definitely recommend you give it a shot!!

Got a great explanation/education about Ramen then went to 2 different spots to try 2 different types. Nick, our guide, was excellent. Very knowledgeable and friendly. My wife and I were Ramen nubes but now we feel better informed and more confident in a Ramen spot.

Great tour. Was greeted by Nick, he did a wonderful job explaining everything we need to know about ramen. Nick was extremely friendly and helpful. We got to choose two places to go to out of a long list and both were delicious! We saw a traditional, and then modern ramen. Was a really great experience. Highly recommend.

So glad I did this tour!! Amazing selection of ramen and really could not have found these places myself. The guide was great company too, especially as a solo traveler.

We had an amazing time on the Kyoto Ramen Tour with Nick! The *Tori Paitan* ramen was creamy and delicious, and the soy sauce ramen at the next restaurant was equally impressive. Nick’s energy, flexibility, and deep knowledge of Kyoto and ramen culture made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour for all who visit Kyoto!

The tour was a great experience! It started off with a drink at a cafe while our host Nick taught us about the history of ramen. Then he brought us on a tour around the city and we visited 2 ramen restaurants. The first was a delicious Tori paitan ramen at a cozy shop where they cooked in front of us. The next was a cute ramen shop with the most delicious shout I had before. It was all very delicious! Nick was an excellent host. He made us feel comfortable, got to know our tastes, was very friendly and made great recommendations. His guidance helped enhance our experience of the food. Would definitely recommend the experience!

Our amazing tour guide Nick recommended this ramen , and he has great taste! The Toripaitan ramen was rich and creamy, with a broth that felt like comfort in a bowl. The Syouyu ramen had a beautifully balanced soy sauce flavor that was light yet satisfying. They gave me the best ramen experience! Nick, the guide of our tour also explained some information about ramen which I wanted to know. We chose the ramen restaurants for ourselves and both of them were perfect. At the first restaurant, I ate Tsukemen and it was so tasty. I absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere of restaurant. I also ate Shoyu ramen at the second restaurant. It was thick and I really satisfied with the ramen. Thank you for giving me a great exprience with ramen.

Nick was a great guide. I was able to visit hidden restaurants that I didn't know about even though I've lived in Kyoto for a year. I could enjoy various types of ramens such as toripaitan and tsukemen. If you are interested in Ramen, I strongly recommend this tour. It was such a nice experience. Also make sure to come hungry!
