This is a MUST if visiting, the guide Svit is an incredible guide. Showed us so much, ensured we were as safe as possible. So much history with first account storytelling. The highlight of me and my friend’s trip to Kyiv.

10/10 24M American Anyone that is able to make the trip to kyiv must take this tour! You get picked up right from your hotel and straight away you are on an adventure experiencing real and unfiltered history. You will get detailed and vivid descriptions of both the early days of the Russian invasion aswell as the occupation of of ukraine. You get a real sense of the sheer devastation aswell as the brutality of the fighting both throuout all the towns along the irpin as well as the outskirts of the city itself. This tour is for those who want a more grounded and down to earth less sanitized or commercialized view of the greatest war the world has seen since the end of ww2. The guide is absolutely superb and is 100% open to any and all questions. This is the best part in my opinion because you get a real opportunity to ask about every aspect of the war or everday life without worrying you may offend or overstep in some way, giving you true freedom to answer any questions or curiosities you may have had about the ukraine war of the everday struggle of its people in its fight for independence and freedom.

Great tour that included many sights. There are quite a few stops and a lot you will see, so definitely worth the money. Truly an unforgettable experience with the most amazing and kind tour guide! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting as a must do!

This tour is an absolute must-do when visiting Kyiv! Svit, the tour guide, is a funny, intelligent, and highly knowledgeable guide who has a deep understanding of everything that happened in Irpin, Bucha, and Hostomel. He shares different perspectives and provides valuable context, making the experience both educational and deeply moving. While driving between the locations, he shows photos and videos of the places you visit, giving you a powerful before-and-after perspective of the events that took place there. The tour is truly impressive, emotionally impactful, and worth every penny. As the cherry on top, part of the proceeds goes directly to the Ukrainian military. By joining this tour, you are not only learning about Ukraine’s recent history but also indirectly supporting Ukraine’s efforts to defend its land, its people, and the security of Europe. Must do!!! This tour was incredibly eye opening to providing the context of the current Ukraine war, but also showed the true horrors of the residents of Bucha and the suburbs dealt with under Russian Occupation. I’m not going to lie, the sites and stories were difficult to take in at times. On the other side, it goes to show just how strong the Ukrainian people are. I think that it is important to understand the cruelties of war. Svet was awesome. He is obviously an expert on the recent history and really did everything he could to make this an impactful experience. While you’re scheduling this tour, reach out about other tours of Kyiv he might offer. The city is incredibly beautiful and is way more than a conflict zone. There is so much to see, and I know Svet would show you the most spectacular places.

If I could I would give more stars, Svit was excellent, very accommodating, and improvising on the spot for my last minute change of plans. Thank you so much for all the flexibility shown and for the content provided.

This tour was educational, informative, and deeply somber. It is an important experience for anyone who wants to better understand the reality of Russia’s occupation and its impact on Ukraine. Our guide, Svit, was highly knowledgeable and presented the information clearly and thoughtfully. He also adjusted parts of the tour, within reasonable limits, to align with the specific interests of me and my friend, which added depth and relevance to the experience. This is not an easy tour emotionally, but it is a necessary one. I would strongly recommend it.

One of the most interesting days I've ever had. Svit is an excellent guide, although perhaps a more fitting title is 'investigative journalist'. Not only do you see all the locations described, you also get meticulously prepared documentation and media to contextualise what you witness.
