アッシジとオルヴィエート（ローマから）： ウンブリアの一日、プライベートツアー

An unforgettable experience in Orvieto and Assisi. We want to express our most sincere gratitude for the excellent excursion we enjoyed yesterday to Orvieto and Assisi. It was a truly wonderful day, in which we were able to discover charming landscapes, enjoy the cultural and artistic richness of these places, and, especially, experience the deep Franciscan spirituality that permeates Assisi. Every moment was accompanied by beauty, history, faith, and emotion. We also enjoyed the lunch very much, which completed an exceptional day. We want to make a very special mention of our guide, Elisabetta, who was simply spectacular. Her knowledge, warmth, friendliness, and way of conveying history, art, and spirituality made each visit take on a special meaning. Her attentive and close accompaniment made the excursion a much richer and more memorable experience. We also especially thank Roberto, our driver, for his professionalism, kindness, and for having accompanied us throughout the entire trip with such responsibility and cordiality. We thank the tourism company for the excellent organization and for providing us with such a well-coordinated excursion, taken care of in every detail. We take with us beautiful memories of Orvieto and, very especially, of Assisi, a place that allowed us not only to know, but also to feel and live the spirituality of Saint Francis. Congratulations on the excellent team and thank you very much for an unforgettable day!

It’s excellent! We stopped to see a beautiful basilica on the way to Assisi, cathedral of the Assumption of Mary. There is enough time to see the main attractions in Assisi. We had lunch at a family run trattoria which was wonderful! On the way back to Rome, we stopped in Orvieto, a very pretty town, we visited the cathedral of the Assumption which is so beautiful on the outside with wonderful art inside! I highly recommend this tour

It was an excellent spiritual experience. Ellen and Massimiliano were great tour guides as well as Katia. They were very amicable and kind.

Excellent! Tour assistant and driver were both very pleasant. On time departure. Beautiful drive. Tour guide Marco in Assisi was very thorough and excellent topic knowledge. Tour went long because he seemed to really enjoy what he does. Tour assistant pointed things out on the way, but also didn’t just talk at us the whole time. I cannot recommend the group at Welcome Italy enough for their day excursions. Cars are very clean and comfortable. We had paid for a small group tour but it ended up being only us which made the tour even more personal.

Great tour with very knowledgeable tour leaders. Our tour guides gave us a ton of info on Assisi and helped us understand the importance of Assisi

A full day of visits to Orvieto and Assisi, with an excellent pair: Elisabeth and Giuseppe, and a special guide in Assisi, Marco. The day was well organized, and both Elisabeth and Marco are well informed about the historical significance and events around the places we visited. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of people and events which continue to have a significant influence on Catholic spirituality. Long day but well worth it.

Antonette and Pietro were a great team. She was a very knowledgeable guide who adjusted the pace to our interests and physical abilities.

My husband and I they really enjoyed the four Basilica tour with Dina as our tour guide and her colleague Stefano. Dina was very professional and knowledgeable all the subject matters. She gave us time to explore and pray and attend Mass at the Basilicas. It was truly a magnificent experience and a full day learning more about the history of our faith. We highly recommend Dina for an expert tour of the four Basilicas.

Welcome Italy was such a great way for my wife and I to experience a full trip in Rome. We actually had three separate excursions with them. First we went to Castel Gandolfo and Nemi. After a full three days in Rome, this was such a quiet and relaxing day. Antoinetta was so personable and made us feel at home, and our driver Pietro was great. The second day we traveled with Marie and Pino to Orvieto and Assisi. Again, both were professional and it felt like we were traveling with old friends by the end of the day. Our third day we traveled with Cascia and Spoleto. Another day of being immersed with a rich understanding of the history thanks to our guide, Juliana, and driver Flavio. Disclaimer here… my wife and I are Catholic, and from that perspective we felt so close to the history of the church. The guides did a great job of understanding that and catering to it each day. Their recommendations on restaurants while traveling were top notch as well. I cannot say enough good things about the days we spent with Welcome Italy and will absolutely be using their services on our next trip to Italy!

Our tour guide, Joseph, and driver Roberto had made our trip a wonderful one. It’s an experience we will share with our friends. Ciao ..
